Hey, all. Looking for recommendations on a cross-platform wireless headset. Currently using Pulse Elite, but I need a replacement that's comparable in build & sound quality and compatible with XB1, PS3, PS4, PC. Suggestions?

@Rapitor Interesting. I was hoping to get something I could kind-of plug in and forget like I mostly do with the Pulse Elite. A thing I really like about the Pulse Elite is that it can be hooked up to both the console and the TV's output line at the same time, and there's an AUX port on the headset that lets you plug directly into an alternate source of choice (e.g.: PC, mobile device, etc.) on-demand.

Essentially, I want full time availability of:

- TV Audio
- Voice chat (primary console)

I also want the ability to swap voice chat to another console as needed, or plug the headphones directly into any 3.5mm audio connection. (plug-in doesn't need to support voice, but would be cool)

And wireless as a primary mode of function is a must.

well you'd need to switch plugs to the various controllers you'd be using. if the headphone is plugged into xb1 don't expect it to work on ps4

@Rapitor Yeah, I get that.

The Pulse Elite pretty much covers all of the above, except the ability to support voice chat on anything but the PS3.

Oh, and charge-as-you-play is a must as well. (Doable with Pulse Elite via mini-USB.)

If you go beyond Optimal Mass for your shield its effectiveness is reduced, and over Maximum it doesn't work at all

I try not to use it to run into an unexplored space, so I don't really use it much at all.

Since explored spaces are generally clear of enemies.

The first step I took with this guy revealed like 5 forest trolls and I hadn't explored enough to find a choke point yet, but I won anyway. Set the pace for this whole run so far.

The one thing that sucks about Bulwark is when I fiend shields that are a huge boost to defense but have worse damage than my current shield.

It's on full screen and default everything.

I didn't even die to an enemy.

I got surrounded, easily handled it, and then the walls shifted and I suffocated.

I'm going to look up what the deal is with that area before going back.

Italian has multiple word modifiers so that you can say "gatto" (cat) vs "gattino" (small cat)

and what makes me livid is when news reporters feel the need to stack multiple modifiers in the same word in order to deliver the appropriate amount of drama

because, you see, when a 3yo child is dropped from a 5th floor or something, just saying "small child" doesn't drive enough emotion in the audience
