I just heard Prof. Sycamore say that Static increases Electric type Encounters. The only other ability like this was Magnet Pull for steel. I was unaware of Static though. Are there more type specific encounter abilities? and what are they?

Some times when you trade with an acquaintance you get a prompt asking if you want to be friends with the other person. Most of the times it does not. It happens randomly too. It could be after the first trade after just trading 1 pokemon or it could happen after the 3rd trade request with that...

Actually securing it wouldn't be impossible, but it would take a lot of time and research to make your own way of storing information

Getting a secure, constantly synced copy the website onto a disc and maintaining compatibility with the server version and functionality over time is physically impossible.

That's not just "It takes ages to develop", it's just flat-out not doable at all.

Restrictions to the medium, to the sync and to the site itself are bound to cause a gridlock.
