An AI engine can train robots. Previously AI engines had little efficacy compared with humans in training robots.
"Russia's Strelkov Movement" has been launched.
I wonder if it will be clamped down by the authorities.
Every such movement will now be seen as a possible coup vehicle.
@CowperKettle I prefer them over sedans
Sinister is a 2012 supernatural horror film directed by Scott Derrickson and written by C. Robert Cargill and Derrickson. It shows Ethan Hawke as a struggling true-crime writer whose discovery of snuff films depicting gruesome murders in his new house puts his family in danger. Juliet Rylance, Fred Thompson, James Ransone, Clare Foley, and Michael Hall D'Addario appear in supporting roles. Sinister was inspired by a nightmare Cargill had after watching the 2002 film The Ring. Principal photography on Sinister began in Autumn of 2011 in Long Island, NY with a production budget of $3 million. To...
It has been names the scariest.
I wonder if it's a good movie.
Tel Megiddo (Hebrew: תל מגידו; Arabic: مجیدو, Tell el-Mutesellim, lit. "Mound of the Governor"; Greek: Μεγιδδώ, Megiddo) is the site of the ancient city of Megiddo, the remains of which form a tell (archaeological mound), situated in northern Israel near Kibbutz Megiddo, about 30 kilometres (19 mi) south-east of Haifa. Megiddo is known for its historical, geographical, and theological importance, especially under its Greek name Armageddon. During the Bronze Age, Megiddo was an important Canaanite city-state and during the Iron Age, a royal city in the Kingdom of Israel. Megiddo drew much of its...
TIL: this is the Armageddon

We even know the name of the guy who kept the journal.

@CowperKettle No селедка but 'a bit'; that explain why the translation made little sense. YouTube automatic subtitles also show 'herring'. A mispronounced mistranslation then. With a bit of luck, they could have counteracted each other :-)

@Robusto October is the new September, or maybe August. It's 83 degrees with a scant 10% humidity here right now under skies immaculate Haven't seen even an inch of moisture since the end of August, so everything is ultra-crunchy and prone to catastrophic wildfire. Still have tender annuals like morning glories and and basil nasturtiums going strong for lack of any frost. Mid 80s at the end of October is not normal, nor, I must confess, entirely unwelcome either. Another for the record books.
Here, seems like the normal fall weather returned.

> characterised by a moderately fast to very fast tempo with a rapid succession of rhythmic patterns in which each syllable of text corresponds to one note.[1] It is a staple of comic opera, especially Gilbert and Sullivan, but it has also been used in musical theatre and elsewhere.
