No one injured. He killed every person he shot. Five days ago a judge blocked Boulder's ban on assault rifles. So of course that's what he used, but he's been a fugitive for years apparently. He has to have come here to this particular place to make the most impact.

The sources tend to be so conflicting about this I can't be certain about it. I mean, things like marrying minors, a huge age gap in marriage, those certainly existed. But to what extent?
Other times there's just radio silence.
One thing to note is despite how both sides want to depict sort of an unchanging, culturally uniform Iran, many many ideological battles have been fought, so many recently so.
For example, up until 300 or so years ago, the majority of Iranians were Sunni. The Safavi dynasty (is that the right word?) promoted Shiism for perhaps political reasons

I mean, on the surface it's all just "Islam", but more enlightened times like the 14th century where atheists could publicly debate their beliefs (although TBF a lot of them did end up being hanged by mobs or executed after a while) are probably culturally incomparable to, say, a couple of centuries later and a heavily superstitious, anti-progress Iran
And I definitely don't have the know-how to analyze how that might have affected things like marriage.
