@Knight but I feel that sentence is so conversational already - not including metaphors which are difficult to understand at all. If it includes something which may lead to poor understanding, it's the jargon shamanism.

I don't usually read articles about philosophy or religion.

Though I believe some paranormal phenomena, like astrology.

"Life denied" means you deny life to yourself if you're a Dawkins

so, on the world wide web, where we are chatting, especially on Stack Exchange sites, people write posts, e.g. questions and answers, which are sometimes deleted because they are offensive. So you might say "These posts have been removed in case they cause offence", which is to say, posts on SE have been deleted in case they offend someone.
A pun is a play on words where a sentence (or sentences) is constructed that sounds like one thing but means another.

@EnderLook In the US it's called 'COD' for Cash On Delivery. This is if you pay when it arrives to the delivery person, not at time of ordering (like is usual with internet purchases).,

It doesn't matter whether it is foreign or local, just the timing of the payment.

Is there an idiom or proverb that means "conduct business in an open and transparent way so as to avoid suspicions of cheating or dishonesty"?

What I wanted to say is "keep your cards above the table".

And I'd probably be understood if I said that; the metaphor is reasonably clear.

But that particular metaphor doesn't seem to be common. I wonder if there's a common one.
