"The element isn't exist in HTML in first"
or
"The element isn't exist in HTML from first"

2 hours later…
02:58
@Shafizadeh I'm not sure I understand what you want to say.
But isn't cannot be right.
That should probably be doesn't.
I have no idea what you mean by either in first or from first.
So we need more of an explanation.

1 hour later…
04:20
@Cerberus I'm trying to say: the table is empty at time (00:00) and I will put a pen on it at time (00:10)
Now I have to say: The pen isn't exist on the table in/from first time
"in" or "from" ?
04:38
@Shafizadeh If I understand you correctly, I think it would be more commonly put as "The pen didn't exist on the table from the beginning." but I'm not sure ....
Oh yes, "beginning" is what I needed. thanks
@Shafizadeh Sometimes "in the first place" is also used I.I.R.C. I don't understand why it's place instead of time myself.
:)
Is this correct?
"How to add a space behind specific character except when that is in the beginning/end of line"
04:58
@Shafizadeh Then I think what you want to say is "the element did not exist in (the) HTML (code) at the beginning" or "...at first".
@Shafizadeh Should be: "how to add a space behind a specific character except when the character is at the beginning/end of the line".
very good buddy, thank you
Good luck!
It's bed time for me now.
G'night Cereberus.

blee bloo blah
13:27
@MattE.Эллен That's what you think.
13:45
yes. I stand by my core principles
14:14
Help me out here, anyone? (Not by mods deleting comments that are still relevant, please!)
Our listeners are what make our podcast possible. Our listeners are what makes our podcast possible.
hm.
I think you can edit your answer to remove the bit about American English. The problem isn't is/are it's makes/make
Using makes (sing) sounds wrong because it doesn't seem to agree, but using make (pl) sounds wrong because I want "what makes X possible" to be singular.
This ngram shows that "what make(s) X possible" is far more popular with a singluar "what"
15:27
Woo! We met our metrics this year. Bonuses for everyone!*
*who is not on a PIP
15:39
We saw our metrics coming up ahead and crossed the street to avoid them.
Haha.
I'm having a 90s throwback day.
What kind of metrics? Econo- or web-trafico- ?
Mostly tickets, I guess.
@KitZ.Fox When it was announced that David Bowie died, I visited the Pandora-David Bowie station. Every song was like a top 10 hit from the 70's. I shut that sucker down after 4 songs. I couldn't take it. I hadn't not heard everyone of those a hundred times
@KitZ.Fox nice
I need to make sure I stop by the service desk to say thank you.
15:44
narco-trafico- would be a questionable accomplishment
I've had this Pearl Jam song in my head for some reason. It was the fourth one to come up on the station so maybe it's something in the air.
I hear about Pearl Jam all the time, and I'm sure I've heard their songs all the time, but I have no idea about the connection of their name with any sound or song.
Really? I didn't think they were a thing anymore.
WHen I use the present, there's a lot of past in there
That's the one in my head. I'm listening to it right now.
15:46
Like RHCP I think of as this new band.
Haha.
Under the Bridge was the second song.
do do doot do do do dooo
@KitZ.Fox Oh. That voice. Wow that's so old. But it came after my youth so it is new.
The Beatles is not new.
Yeah. Eddie Vedder had a cameo in Singles. He was soooo cute.
There that's all the age group range I'll give.
We're pretty close to the same age.
15:49
@KitZ.Fox I've heard of that name before. I'm guessing that that's that voice in Pearl Jam (using my Sherlockian cognitive powers)
@Mitch Yep. Original singer in the key of R.
@KitZ.Fox I'm young at heart. no older than 50.
The one who started it all. And it was soooo sexy that everyone started doing it and it got lame.
'R'?
@Mitch Yeah. Me too.
@Mitch Heyr, baby-er, I luv yer.
You know. Key of R.
15:51
I think everyone is no older than 50. Even grey hairs.
They sure act old with their physical disabilities and uptight 'antidrugs' and 'anticrime' and 'antidancing on tables'. Stupid old people.
@KitZ.Fox haha. I had no idea.
Mornin!
Hey!
Hello, @MετάEd.
@Mitch The Beatles are not new. ftfy
So english!
15:56
It's the English chatroom :-)
@KitZ.Fox They are still together, still releasing albums, still touring, and they even have their own SiriusXM radio station that plays PJ all day, all night.
I like their older stuff better though.
I have a few of their later albums, but I don't feel they're as good.
Yeah, the book was better too.
I do appreciate the hard work they do as a band though. For example: they recorded every concert on one tour they had and released every single one as a CD.
back when CDs were a thing, of course.
nowadays it'd be vinyl, I suppose
16:05
when're player piano rolls coming back into fashion?
16:16
Soon, I hope.
@MattE.Эллен It's the next dress material craze. shows off enough for the dance floor, but covers enough to be appropriate for the boardroom
I wish every digital piano came with a library of pieces you could just play on it, like a player piano.
can't you download stuff to them?
I don't know. maybe? It should just come with it!
There's literally thousands of public domain pieces.
My piano came with a big book of sheet music. But only one song is recorded as a demo.
@Mitch I don't know, I think it will create a "holier than thou" epidemic
16:20
Hey guys, what is up?
It's a preposition
lol English jokes
@MattE.Эллен rimshot!!
I am from Brazil. Where are you from people?
I am from the UK
16:22
What brings you to our room, @Moisés?
I am looking for someone to talk to in english.
We do that here.
Mostly.
kkkkkk
hahahaha
Sometimes it sounds like English but doesn't always make sense.
Glad to know
16:23
So don't sweat it if you don't get it.
Also, sweat shaming is a thing that should be a thing and has a long and reputable history. If there were no sweat shaming, what are all those showers at gyms for?
yes
You got a good point
What teams do you cheer for?
But, while in line at Starbucks, instead of being passive aggressive about it and saying 'Wow you must really have really worked out hard, really'. You should just be aggressive and say 'Ewww'.
I cheer for team 'Lonely Starbucks Lovers'
Never heard of them
There isn't a team I usually cheer for. England, I suppose
16:28
Hum... but isn´t there any team despite cheering for England?
@MattE.Эллен Man U? CHelsea? Arsenal? West Ham Fighters? Central Ham Fighters?
@MoisésSoares Go England!!
Please!
Hahahaha
I support all things ham and bacon.
16:29
haha! fun at the expense of poor england.
Go Brazil! Go Neymar!!
Neymar is the second world´s best soccer player, YET!
Where is Neymar (within Brazil)?
@Mitch I don't care for any local teams. or football in general.
oh.
Neymar must be in Spain
16:30
what team does he play for?
Barcelona
@MattE.Эллен what about handegg?
didn´t you know?
@MattE.Эллен Well now. That's not very patriotic.
@Mr.ShinyandNew安宇 handegg is good to watch, but I don't follow a particular team
16:30
AFC championship is this weekend!
Who watches WWE?
KFC championship!
Arsenal Football Club championship?
Folks, I am leaving. It was great to talk to you
So long
by handegg I'm referring to union rules Rugby
16:32
@MoisésSoares See you later.
@MoisésSoares see you
Oh, there IS a KFC championship. so much for my Jasper joke
American Football Conference championship!
16:32
Patriots v. Broncos!
aren't all Americans patriots? aren't Broncos a type of horse? What sport is this?!?!?!
I think the last sports game I watched, on purpose, was in 1993
@MattE.Эллен handegg is a thing to watch, right? Watch cooking? Then you eat it? With bacon?
@MattE.Эллен Oh. I would never eat that.
@Mitch an egg in the hand is worth bacon
@Mr.ShinyandNew安宇 ?? You made no poop joke.
16:35
@Mitch no but I mentioned KFC. QED
@Mr.ShinyandNew安宇 So... what was the score? Did they win? I have to know!
It's important
@Mitch They won.
I don't remember the score.
It was the 93 world series final, Blue Jays vs somebody.
I'm guessing that is some kind of sport. you mentioned this ... 'score' thing.
So did I but I was trying to act like I knew what was going on.
Now tailgating...that could almost make it worthwhile. bacon-wrapped scallops, spicy nachos with dip. mmm...
16:51
@Mr.ShinyandNew安宇 Phillies. Good series.

@DeltaEscher Special rule for St. John's?
@MετάEd Text Python RPG
Mainly based on sarcasm
@DeltaEscher Do they play text RPGs a lot in St John's?
@MετάEd Where's that?
@DeltaEscher As far east in Canada as you can go without getting wet.
17:21
@MετάEd Isn't that Nova Scotia?
@DeltaEscher It's in Newfieland.
Right next to Placentia
best name
@DeltaEscher My vote is Bugtussle.
17:36
Canada province names are either crazy or super normal
Placentia.
Victoria.
Bugtussle
Toronto...
Is an entwistle a way of summoning ents?
18:15
@DeltaEscher Congrats on not naming a single province there.
18:30
@Mr.ShinyandNew安宇 Where?
The universe?
@DeltaEscher That list of words under the msg I replied to
@Mr.ShinyandNew安宇 A single province where, though?
@DeltaEscher Canada
Really?
Those were on a map of Canada...
Victoria and Toronto are cities.
18:34
Ah.
The others... who knows.
Those are all cities.
I screwed up
Lost 1,000,000
You're dead to me now.
18:35
I wasn't dead to you before?
That makes me ashamed
Which is cool, because I've been practicing my necromancy. Can you hear me now?
No
Are you speaking Gibberish?
That might work
also bugtussle is in the US
@MετάEd said it, not me
I just assumed
18:54
Hi guys, Can I ask for a critique or vote on which one I should use? I'm doing the belief section of my website.

1 hour later…
20:12
@Pennf0lio Image isn't working for me. Could you tell me what it is?
20:57
@Pennf0lio Way off topic on the main site.
Here at chat, sure, but quality of answers may not be reliable (I speak only for myself).
What is 'design'? What is your 'belief' section? Is that the same as a 'mission statement' or 'vision' in your business plan?
