@RegDwigнt I never judge a piece by the comments. But yeah. Collier is amazing, though now that I've listened all the way through I think this album is uneven. I really like about half the tracks, but covers like "Every Little Thing She Does is Magic" leave me wishing for the rawness of The Police. And the obligatory music video approach just seems extraneous to the music—as they all are and must be.
See, at least when some band has a music video you assume it's some director's ideas about the band and not the band itself. In this case, they are one and the same, and that's problematic. You think you're that mysterious, Jacob? Well, good on ya, mate. But remember, your thing is music. Not pretentious graphical semi-allegories.
