7:08 PM
You know Americans would love it.

There was a line about that in a movie I saw lately. "Do Not Disturb". I believe Doris Day complained to the cabbie about how confusing English coins were, why shouldn't we all have one currency? The cabbie says well, that was always the plan, but then there was your little revolution.
Probably the only good moment in the movie, actually.
Well, there was the fox rescue.

I've heard Doris Day could really let off a resounding fart.

I haven't added "on resize" because that's always a bodge

She never really got a good chance in her movies to show off her talents

7:11 PM
@MattE.Эллен nice

my eyes hurt now

@Mitch from the farts?

from the unicorn fart I just saw on your js mockup.
so yes

excellent. that means it's working

I'm also making these stabby motions with my arms
I love programming
dangit, the cat ran away before I could step on his tail to keep him from getting away.
eyes bird in cage

7:14 PM
learning to cat herd? do you want to manage programmers?

ha ha. sort of. not really
it's neat how there are (recognizably) really three wide colors red green blue, and then boundary colors which are narrow, yellow cyan magenta, just like um that RBG and CMY encoding stuff
not neat? the headaches.

you win some, you lose some

I'd prefer to win my head back.
also maybe those transitions are artifacts of your algorithm.
or artifacts of my eye

@Mitch are you a Dullahan? Did you lose it in a bet?
@Mitch probably

@MattE.Эллен How dare you! How dare you mostly because I don't know what a Dullahan is. Is that like a henway?

7:19 PM
The Irish dullahan (also Gan Ceann, meaning "without a head" in Irish) is a type of unseelie fairy. == MythologyEdit == The dullahan, (pronounced DOOL-a-HAN), is a headless rider, usually on a black horse who carries his or her own head under one arm. Usually the dullahan is male, but there are some female versions. The head and the mouth is usually in a hideous grin that touches both sides of the head. Its eyes are constantly moving about, and can see across the countryside even in the darkest nights. The flesh of the head is said to have the color and consistency of moldy cheese. The dullahan...

completely off-topic, I bought some curry 'paste', but I wanted curry dry powder, it is different?

certainly from a measuring perspective.
I don't think I've cooked with curry paste. it might work fine

@MattE.Эллен lol, the bad thing is frightened of gold, how convenient

@Mr.ShinyandNew安宇 a good way to get people to keep on them

crl
I'm scared about if that paste has oil or not

7:23 PM
@crl that will be in the ingredients list, won't it?

@MattE.Эллен "Why didn't the dullahan get Lord Lannister?" "Well, he's got lots of gold, that's why only the poor people died covered in blood"

@Mr.ShinyandNew安宇 :D

crl
@MattE.Эллен yea, it's not, ok

These guys can think of musical notes, but not capital P.

@crl Nicely monotonous.

> US banking stocks were particularly badly hit, with Morgan Stanley down 10.15pc, Citigroup down 9.36pc, Bank of America down 7.41pc and Goldman Sachs down 7.07pc.
That's not so bad.

9:58 PM
@MattE.Эллен It is really hard to remember how to convert lb to kg. Subtract 1 from l to get k, then add 5 to b to get g. I always mess that up. Why couldn't they have chosen something easier to remember?

@Cerberus says the man with no retirement account with stock in those banks
@MattE.Эллен that's how bad it must have been if I didn't even notice it was missing

I wonder how many lightbulbs I weigh
2

@tchrist They were in a war of units. What else did you expect?
@crl Considering that geckos can stick to ceilings, not many.

That would even be lighter.

@Mitch A good reason to sell you stocks in those banks...

1 hour later…
11:52 PM
