Bad to the bone?
Bbbad

Shamon. That's who's bad.

When I walk the streets kings and queens step aside...
:D

9:28 PM
later!

Later pal

9:43 PM
I need nine reps to vote in the ELLection.

Are you looking for a serial up voter? :P

She needs but one.

Truth.
Although it does show me the 1st, 2nd, 3rd choice buttons.
That doesn't necessarily mean I can click them.

Done.

Thank you, kind stranger!

9:49 PM
There are position statements on their meta. Make of them what you will.

enjoy your vote :D

J.R. is a shoe-in, and there are other strong candidates as well. Some are less strong.

I'm partial to WendiKidd, too.
But research.

He’s a shoe-in because he’s done a lot of the moderation work there for years, and he’s done it well.

9:50 PM
He's a bit of a bully

@Rigor Show me.
I have never discerned that.

But aren't we all :P

waits

I had a physics mod invite me to a private room for some bullying
But whatever

9:53 PM
Be that as it may, that was not JR.

raiders never back down
Never

Churchill was no viking desecrator.

:D

Um, no!
What's the other link?

What other link?

The one you asked about loading above.
Is there an elections.stackexchange.com somewhere?
Like, where did you pull that from?

First bullet.
More information about the candidates.

I'll look into it.

10:12 PM
Says the mod :P
Congrats btw

Try a reboot.
Works for me most of the time :-)

Some people seem to be able to load it.
Others, not so much.

Ok, it just loaded for me after many failures.
Are you using Safari on a Mac by chance?

10:25 PM
@tchrist Under "room" atop the starboard there's a link called "manage feeds."

I know.
I couldn't see anything that listed German, Japanese, Russian.

Sounds like reg is up to his camouflaging tricks...

@tchrist I'm not aware that we get those feeds.

KGB cloakendaggers.

They have a lot of practice :P

10:52 PM
Anyone recognize this/these dialects?
Oh hey, it's @Matt!

The English ones or the American ones?
Ask Matt to localize the English ones.

That's what I'm asking.
The English ones.
I wish I could have helped them pass on the biscuits.

The only thing funnier that teaching Englishmen about American biscuits is teaching Americans about English biscuits sweet and savory.

Jimi Manuwa is a London accent
as is dino

10:57 PM
Hum. Okay.

which is funny, as I thought Dino was a dinosaur from bedrock

no problem :)

I'm good :)
working hard (not right now, but in general)
how are you?

10:59 PM
Working hard also.
I'm writing a thing about FERMIAC.
Well, I'm researching it at this point.

:-o
sounds tough

My physics knowledge is lacking.

I was trying to find a blue square in an image, but we scrapped that idea, so now I'm extracting the information from predefined areas :D
it's easier
what are you going to write about FERMIAC?

What it is, what it was used for, &c.
I must away for dinner :\

11:05 PM
I’ve a friend who’s a Los Alamos history buff.

I used to be a fermi buff.
Smart guy.

11:37 PM
@Robusto Quite possibly. The Oxford Dictionary of Quotations lists it under Yeats. It just calls it an epigraph, ignoring the claimed attribution to an "old play". (Well, I've not seen Responsibilities myself, but Wikipedia said that Yeats attributes the line to an old play.)
