9:00 PM
The Pantheon or what it's called.
Though actually you're right in that I've never been to the Louvre, either.

I’ve been only once, and so long ago I forget everything.
Been to the Prado more than a dozen times, and barely remember more of it. That was 30 years ago.

@Cerberus Yeah...I don't understand how that happened.

Had free entrance, and it was on the walk home from school.

@tchrist now now, if anyone, then the Spanish did keep their dynasties as straight as possible.
> Charles descended from his great-great-great grandmother, Joanna the Mad, a total of 14 times — twice as a great-great-great grandson, and 12 times further. In the fifth generation, Charles had only 10 ancestors, where 32 would be normal.

9:21 PM
The good news is my husband is in Boston now.

Having 14 crazy great-great-great-grandmothers is pretty bad. Having them be the same person is even worse.

The bad news is, they landed the same time his connecting flight took off.
So he's not going to be back until late tonight.
sad panda

But at least he will make it home.

Yeah. And before tomorrow afternoon.

puts sad panda on MOC list

9:23 PM
Maybe even before I go to bed.
@RegDwighт Yes! Great idea!
does math
Actually, probably before I go to bed.
And I don't have to drive an hour to pick him up at a different airport.
At exactly the right time for the kids to be going to bed.
So, it works out pretty well.

Neat.
I can't figure out how my eldest has had about four hours of sleep and yet he's playing so nicely with his little brother.

I am tempted to verify where the division actually was, then call BS.
I am even more tempted to be lazy, though.

Do it.

is lazy

9:29 PM
Do it.

continues

DO it.

You give very easy-to-follow orders.

Huh. So it does.
@RegDwighт Thank you.

@KitFox No, thank you.

@RegDwighт You are most welcome.

I often am.

ponders this
@JohanLarsson I agree.
The boys are trying to play frisbee.
It's one of the funnier moments in my life.

What, in-house?

9:33 PM
They are sort of chasing each other with it. The rules seem really complicated.
@RegDwighт No, outside.

In house would be funnier still. Tell them.

Now one of them is trying to throw it to the other, who is in turn trying to hit it with a light saber.

OOOOOHHH
SPACE FRISBEE

I have the best children ever.

Lucky they found you.

9:34 PM
Yep.
It's getting chilly. We may have to go in and fight some zombies before bed.
We even went out to dinner at a restaurant tonight, just the three of us.
They've been really good.
If they were older, I would be very suspicious.
So now it seems my husband will be on a different flight to a different airport.
But one that happens to be along his mother's return route from Boston.
I had no idea we had so many airports in this state.

Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode I watched just the other day.

"...like a boy in orthopedic shoes I stand corrected." :)

Haha. Behindertenwitze.

Night!

Nighty.

Night.

10:05 PM
Everyone says night, noöne leaves.

Well, I was trying to fit in.

How non-non-comformist of you.

Indeed.

The first m should be an n but it makes sense either way.

im bierhaus

10:06 PM
In Deutschland, ja in Deutschland, wo die Berge hoch sind?
You watching Monty Python?

No.

Well you should be.

Haha. The boys are watching Phineas and Ferb and they just made a Dutch joke.

Sure it wasn't Cerb and not Ferb with the Dutch joke?

The robot manual was in Dutch, but they had a Dutch to French dictionary and a French to English dictionary.
@Cerb

10:08 PM
Story of my life.

Hi!

Hi.
He also made a balloon windmill.

Glad to see you are educating your boys properly.
They will need Dutch in the big, big world.

Well, except now Doofenschmirtz has a scheme to cover the entire tri-state area with carbon footprints.
So now they will misunderstand what that means.

Not carbon footprints!!
Oh, dear.

10:18 PM
He thinks they sound evil.

Heh.
You could ask them after the show "do you know what carbon footprints really are?".

I could but I won't.

As long as their Dutch is in order, they can do without carbon footprints.
Dikes > floods.

11:18 PM
meep

@Mr.ShinyandNew安宇 here's another one.

What are you doing still awake? I’m falling asleep already.

I am experimenting with social engineering.
Hacking people.

There isn’t really a triple-decker bus, is there? Wouldn’t it fall over?

There is in Harry Potter.
That's the point, that it even already exists as a LEGO set.
That guy basically plagiarizes LEGO on their own site. And they let him be.

11:30 PM

Photoshop.

Yeah, I know.
Looks like a lot of work.

But the HP one is real.

Well, that settles it then.

11:46 PM
You're hacking me?

I'm hacking people. Are you people?
It looks like the ratio of views to supports on CUUSOO is typically around 30.
50 for less successful projects, 20 is pretty much the best.
But it's pretty constant across the board.
So basically I need 500,000 views, and the 10,000 supports will come with the territory.
So not being on Twitter or Flickr or anywhere really, I am trying to devise ways to get me 500,000 views.
Preferrably ASAP.

Seems unlikely, but I don’t want to discourage you.
Did I say that out loud?

@RegDwighт You have the link handy? I'll post it on my FB.

@tchrist You misunderestimate my determination in such things.
Hopefully I do not misoverestimate it.
But constant dripping wears away the stone.

Nothing great was achieved by aiming low, but the moon is very high.

11:53 PM
It's not as close as it looks.

And unlike on Reddit or ELU or elsewhere, the votes are not retractable. So every vote I get is locked in.

Ok, I give up. I don’t understand anything. What is this support thing all about? Crowd-sourced funding or something?

@tchrist nah. That's what it'd be if they did it properly.
It's a broken version of something like that.

@RegDwighт No, it just makes stalsomethingmites.

11:56 PM
I see they managed to shoot the 19yo terrorkid through the throat and tongue. Good luck with getting testimony out of him now.

@RegDwighт Shared with 185 more people.

Whoa.
You sure know much people.

I'd think throat and tongue would be self-inflicted.

Thank you.

Sure.
It's not that many. It's FB average friend list.
I wanted to praise you for the thoroughness and thoughtfulness of your proposal too.
It was very well written for any kind of proposal, and especially in contrast with the other examples you posted.
And also well-presented and convincing.
