9:00 PM
Thank you for counting. Because I actually didn't. I just guesstimated.
In fact I can't count them now that I try.
They are dancing.

@WillHunting Hi! It was OK, but not fantastic. We had some interesting conversations, exchanged some personal stories, that was nice; but not a great match otherwise.

Oh yeah. Looks like that's the question of the day.
Cerberus should have a macro by now.

user19161
@Cerberus It's OK. I am sure you will find someone great one day!

@ЯegDwight That's not fair. You're only proving that 1. my search skills on SE and 2. my memory lose out to you.

@Cerberus I'm not proving anything. I'm kindly asking you to believe.

9:02 PM
@ЯegDwight Heh. That would be convenient!
@WillHunting You too!
@ЯegDwight Are you the Pope?
Oh, you said "kindly".

I could only prove the absense of something by quoting every message from this chat ever.
And you don't want me to do that.
Cuz you know I would.

Oh, go ahead.

8 secs ago, by Cerberus
Oh, go ahead.

Good start.

See? No discussion about phones.

reading up on concrete roof tiles
Still no phones.

There could be telephones under or near those tiles.
Or you might want to call somebody to discuss them.

@NathanCTresch Have you been spamming meta? :P Go read the WHat are our boundaries comments section and enjoy the palpable rage. :P
Oh wait, wrong room.

user19161
Is Reg trolling me with his misspelling?

Nou im knot.

user19161
9:06 PM
Oh no, I think Reg had a concussion!

@WillHunting Cushions don't have cons. They only have pros.

This must be the most depressive village ever.
Even though it looks absolutely awesome.

@Cerberus why? Looks like they had quite a ride!

9:08 PM
@Cerberus to be fair, in certain parts of Europe that's like every village ever.

Yeah, I suppose.
It's more like a town, actually.

Heck, it's not even too much awesomer than the stuff I have within a two-hour-walk's reach.
Minus the weather, it would seem.

I have stuff just as awesome within 1 minute.
Minus the weather, aye.

@Cerberus Well yeah, that too. And I'm not even in Amsterdam.
I showed you our Baroque church with international renommee.

In many European towns, you could be living next to a fabulous monument.
Thank God.
@ЯegDwight Yes, that was nice.

user19161
9:11 PM
@Cerberus Which country is this?

Portugal.

I was going to say that!

{{Geobox|Settlement | name = Penedono | native_name = | other_name = | category = Municipality | native_category = Concelho | etymology = | official_name = Município de Penedono | motto = | nickname = | image = Penedono 1.jpg | image_caption = A vista from the Castle of Penedono on the parish of Penedono | image_size = 235 | flag = Pt-pnd1.png | symbol = PND.png | coun...
I've never been to Portugal.

user19161
@Cerberus They are speaking Portugese these days in the math room, and Spanish. I don't know which is which actually.

Oh right, you even posted the name. I didn't even have to guess. D'oh...

9:12 PM
Oh, dear!
@ЯegDwight You forgot, huh? And it was hard, searching for the name in my sreenshot...

@WillHunting Portuguese is Polish with Spanish vocabulary. Spanish is just Spanish with Spanish vocabulary.

@WillHunting By the way, did I tell you that my date had lived in Singapore for years?
His father worked there.

@Cerberus I hope that name means what I hope it means.

@Cerberus I still remember some of the numbers by heart, though. There was a nine and a seven. And it went from 3kish to 6kish and back to 3kish again.

user19161
@Cerberus No. Did I tell you that I have never gone on a date?

9:13 PM
@ΜετάEd It must.
@WillHunting No. Did I tell you that perhaps you should try it?
@ЯegDwight Correct!

user19161
@Cerberus Yes. And we have come full circle!

I remember that from only looking at the numbers once.
That's the kind of stuff I can remember.
@WillHunting Good!

user19161
@Cerberus I learnt that phrase from Reg.

To come full circle?

user19161
Yes.

9:18 PM
Noted.

WMD
It makes me think of sticky biscuit.

user19161
@WMD This is too weird for me, your switching.

WMD
Sorry.

user19161
@wmd I still can't quite figure out who. I am not asking you though.

user19161
There is an ignore button if you so wish to use it, just fyi.

user19161
9:25 PM
Oh my, this is getting mysterious!

user19161
@ЯegDwight Yes, I think I sensed it existed when you used it.

I actually wasn't sure anymore and had to check.

user19161
Despite my skills I am unable to fathom the wmd mystery. It must be that I have not been following the transcript.

WMD
If only there were a way to keep all of one's remarks out of the transcript.

9:27 PM
Post them in a text file and link to that file.
Then update that file as needed.
It's fast and cumberless.

user19161
@ЯegDwight Brilliantesimo!

user19161
Every message can be like that!

user19161
Then one will have 100,000 text files!

No, just one text file that one keeps editing.

Note how that's over nine thousand.
@ΜετάEd yeah that's how I meant it, but I didn't want to disappoint Jasper.

user19161
9:29 PM
@ЯegDwight I said it so as not to disappoint you!

Is it time for me to change my nickname again?

user19161
@ΜετάEd You never really changed it except for the funny characters.

@WillHunting I get the feeling it's a community standard.

@ΜετάEd Yes.

user19161
@ΜετάEd They tried to be cool and change it last year during ELU birthday. After that they never changed it back.

9:31 PM
And it's time for the other unmentionable bird too.

WMD
Hah, funny. A few days ago, I was thinking "I wonder what happened to Clark Kent - I haven't seen him for a very long time". Then I remembered!
@Cerberus There's another unmentionable bird?

Yes.
It flies at night.

WMD
Please?
Thank you.

user19161
@WMD I was just talking about myself! But as you wish...

WMD
Sorry, I'm a bit sensitive today.
You think I'm being stupid don't you. Like I need to grow a pair, or whatever it was you told me.

9:35 PM
I'm just saying that I doubt whether this will work.
That, too.

WMD
It will work for a short time. Then the situation will resolve itself.

Mysterious!

Ah.
So the views don't update automatically, while the likes do.
> Oh, it has the video front and back, that's cool.
@ЯegDwight This guy from your video actually said that.
He thought the glass back cover of the 4S was a screen...

@Cerberus Chat Z pls.

Yup!

9:43 PM
@Cerberus is that what he meant? I didn't even catch that bit.

WMD
I've always wanted a phone that has video on both sides. Where can I buy one?

user19161
@WMD Get two phones and tape them together.

@ЯegDwight Yup, I didn't understand it the first time either.
@WMD It is the Iphone 4S!!

user19161
I am always looking for phones with no video. It is so hard to find them now...

But it only comes with two screens when you call it an Iphone 5.

user19161
9:49 PM
@Cerberus iPhone

Is the following sentence grammatically correct?
> "If he could, that would mean all of his sufferings still remained to haunt him."

user19161
@Nile Yes, though it is not clear what it means without context.

> I placed my hand on his chest and gazed into his eyes. No longer were they owned and protected by a psyche; his eyes were lost and unpaired. But in front of me lay my dog; lifeless. Did he feel my hand? I hope not. If he could, that would mean all of his sufferings still remained to haunt him.

Anybody know if 158°F (70°C) is hot for RAM DIMMs?

@Robusto seems fine
could be a little hot

user19161
9:56 PM
@Nile Well, I don't have to know the meaning which I can't unless I read the entire story, but it is certainly grammatical, that sentence you quoted.

@WillHunting okay thanks. if you'd be willing to read the story that'd be great, but I honestly wouldn't want to waste your time and I doubt you do want to... thanks though =D

user19161
@Nile However, as a side note, that semicolon there seems misplaced. A semicolon is used to separate two related sentences. It would be too much to assume that "lifeless" is ellipsis for a complete sentence. I would replace it with a comma.

@WillHunting I was thinking about that, thanks!

WMD
In front of me, my dog lay lifeless. Could that work?
Or even, "My dog lay lifeless in front of me".

@WillHunting Absolutely not.
