@David I am the one who usually tell people that. It was a one line answer at least and the relevant part is quoted. It seems Blender.org killed the faq but as far as I remember at most there was a line or two more, nothing relevant. — iKlsR ♦4 mins ago

I use Blender to create my 3D models for my Android app that uses OpenGL ES. The default output format for a Wavefront file (.obj) is not compatible with my Wavefront file parser. How do I get Blender to output a Wavefront file that has the following elements:
All Verticies and Faces (faces as ...
@iKlsR I too would not of closed it. We have had many questions answered by the same user, which could be called farming rep, and non of those were closed. I (now) see no problem with answering your own questions.
Looking through old questions I have com across many dead links. There seams to me no real consensus across the SE network as to what should be done with dead links. I have read many questions (1,2,3) about dead links and they say: just leave a comment; or edit the post to update the link. Flaggi...
In a Vertex Groups panel there is a possibility to move the selected group (which lies on the bottom of the list) to the top by clicking the 'down arrow', but in the Shape Keys panel there is not such option.
I've made a model which has over 200 shapekeys. You can modify every part of a body- f...
i need to create a curve based on this reference (only a 3D tube/line) but seems hard to make it exact, is there any way i can make it exactly look like the one in the image?
Thanks in regards,
That would need to be done with a script I think, and shouldn't be too hard either. That or a vector fallof on the proportional editing mode. Let me test that . . .
Use the mouse actuator.
delay>and>Mouse, mouse look.
Set the delay to 0.01 and enable true-level-triggering this will behave as an always sensor, but delay works better with mouse look. The delay will read 0 but it really will work for 0.01 frames.
Create a mouse actuator and set the type to mo...
A new scene I am working on. I am having an awful time trying to keep from adding materials before the modelling is done. I am afraid if I do I will omit some details . . .
Sorry, this may not be pleasing to hear, but there are two ways to do this.
The hard way (manually model the object to be curved)
The easy way (it requires using a curve modifier.)
Since the first way really requires step by step or a tutorial, and is out of scope for this site, I'll give you...
Do you all think this was the wrong way to answer?
@NoviceInDisguise @GiantCowFilms @someonewithpc did you see this one?
