@Catija what were the other two triggers (clean up duty and waffles)? I believe we tentatively established "Edit a post with an accepted answer that later gets an upvote" and "15 comments within X hours", are those correct?
@Catija no. really it was fun. I always liked figuring out the triggers. So when a totaly new trigger comes along, Its fun. Then a big bonus when you are correct about the trigger and can get the hat. Especially one as hard as Eliza.
@Catija Oh wow. yah that would of been an exploited bug.
It will be interesting to think about what to do next year. I think there's a fatigue as it hasn't changed much recently. Maybe a treasure hunt sort of thing or something like a non-religious advent thing where there's something new every day.
@Catija I'd be happy to help out with the bash (if that is something that SE would be ok with). Even back when just one CM had all the WB work to do, I thought "I could do that."
@Catija no doubt that was a big part of it.
still kind of bummed that I could not make the top, but such is life.
@Catija could you copy the text of those two screen shots, just stick it in a txt file or something. (dump it here in a few messages)? It would save me from manually copying it.
@David Sure. :) always welcome. And if you don't want to mention them in public, you can email them to me and I'll take all the credit when they get used.
@David let me ask... I would but I actually don't have access to that page, so I have to get someone to grab it for me.
@Catija lol. I'd have no problem with you getting the credit. But more then that (I know SE would probably be against it) but I could help with your triggers. (I would of spotted the association bonus right away.)
@Catija Yea some hats do somewhat depend on actions before WB started, such as hats for getting the Enlightened (2018’s The Merlin) or Great Answer (2017’s Universe Brain) badges.
These hats are much easier if one already had an answer with 40+ or 90+ votes before WB even started.
Oh, by the way, the "rubber ducky" trigger is only half right.
You don't actually need to hit the "discard" button. If you start a draft and then never come back to finish the question, you'll get the hat seven days later when the draft is deleted.
You did create it, look at top right corner of the page:
https://stackoverflow.com/tags/default-method/info
you created it because you were the first one posting on it, and created it out of nothing, the first question of the tag was:
Explicitly calling a default method in Java
which was your...
@U9-Forward Unfortunately I wasn't tracking SO, in previous years I've only graphed Ask Different but this year tried it with the SE leaderboard too, perhaps in the future I can track more leaderboards if people like these graphs
