Okay, now I tested my code, found a bug, fixed it.
@Hosch250 Oh holy crap! If you convert the whitespace to non-whitespace, then it could be more readable and (IMO) more easily reviewable. Is there maybe some language that behaves just like whitespace but with different tokens?

@Marc-Andre I hate Java. — TopinFrassi 3 hours ago

@CommitStrip What's Baidu?

7:08 PM
@TopinFrassi sounds like the Chinese-gov search engine

Baidu, Inc. (Chinese: 百度; pinyin: Bǎidù, Anglicized /ˈbaɪduː/ "BY-doo"), incorporated on January 18, 2000, is a Chinese web services company headquartered at the Baidu Campus in Beijing's Haidian District. Baidu offers many services, including a Chinese language-search engine for websites, audio files and images. Baidu offers 57 search and community services including Baidu Baike (an online, collaboratively-built encyclopedia) and a searchable, keyword-based discussion forum. Baidu was established in 2000 by Robin Li and Eric Xu. Both of the co-founders are Chinese nationals who studied and worked...
Also, CommitStrip is usually funnier in French :)

I don't need to downvote, I'm just telling you, it's not a good answer to the question. The question itself is offtopic here and should be placed on CodeReview platform instead tho. — DanFromGermany 16 secs ago

@Phrancis I'll start checking 'em in both languages :p

@Duga Well, "platform" is at least better than "forum"...

From the code and information you provided, we cannot tell wether your implementation is good or not. It mainly depends on 2 factors: What's the code behind Common::sanitize() and: How many of those requests do you have per session. You should put more code and place it on CodeReview Stackexchange platform. — DanFromGermany 50 secs ago

Welp, I'm mad. Turns out my graphics card isn't going to work on my power supply because my power supply doesn't have two 8 pin molex adapters and I can't seem to find a cheapish power supply that has that. RIP

@DanPantry :/

Max today!

@TopinFrassi Why do people not know Baidu?

Except overflow in rep... 20 too much

7:23 PM
@DanPantry What does your power supply have? Some things can be rigged.

@Mast I did, but it isn't common anywhere outside of China, IIRC.

Wow, new design

@Caridorc welcome back!

@Mat'sMug Hi :)

7:25 PM
@Caridorc Wow, I said that but got 0 stars. Someone else, 2 stars. Totally unfair.

@Mast I tried bodging it but the local hardware store does not have the connector I need - so i'm asking on hardware recs for a new power supply (currently is only 500W anyway)

@TheCoffeeCup 5, not 2 :P

Anyways, anyone remember that project I started forever ago? I finished it!

@Mast I don't want to buy the wrong cable and have it arrive only to find out it is the wrong one haha

@TheCoffeeCup well, life is unfair

Well, finished is a bit exaggerated
I'm never really finished

@syb0rg I don't remember. What is it?

@Mast The speech synthesis engine needed to be rewritten for Khronos

@Caridorc Then why is it ever unfair in my favour?

Flite was too old school

7:28 PM
@syb0rg Tritium is beta radioactive.

@TheCoffeeCup Because of your Java profile picture probably

Tritium is based off of flite, but a lot more new school

@Mast Just like Code Review, /cymbals

@Hosch250 I'm not sure how we should treat whitespace. I mean, the code is just as reviewable as BF technically. But... how do you read it? BF at least has symbols, telling the difference between a space and a tab and a line break is just.... ugh....

7:29 PM
Was it decided that there would be no breaks in the magnifying glass logo?

@SimonForsberg That is why I stuck S, T, and L in there.

@SirPython Yup, by the designer.

@Hosch250 good choice. If you do that in your post, then it's probably reviewable

I learned to do that from Wiki.

I don't think we should get into reviewing Whitespace. What's next? Folders?
@Hosch250 Oh yeah, I guess that's ok :p

7:30 PM
But, second person down with the virus today. Got to get my finals written.
@TopinFrassi Sure!

@Hosch250 Don't you dare. :p

I'm glad that site still works for the most part haha

@TopinFrassi okay, I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say: what the fuck is that

@Mast Does that mean it broke when you tried to use it? lol

@syb0rg That's awesome

7:30 PM
OF COURSE that's a thing.

@TopinFrassi Well thank you!

@DanPantry That's the most stupid "language" ever thought of ahah

Ooh nice, the newsletter got a facelift, too!

I should probably have Tritium reviewed, but development on Khronos needs to continue

Another note. i'm registred at various networks and i really always just ask in the right section but seriously ... why should this go to codeReview? he ask a general question about various different programming languages. i really think this is the best place to ask. You are right to say that he should be more specific.. but downvoting all the answers ... lol — cocco 39 secs ago

@TopinFrassi Why is Java bad????

@SirPython It sure is! I mean, it's weird but hey, it's kinda cool
@TheCoffeeCup I'm just messing with you. Java isn't bad. I just like it less than C# :p

@Duga This question is a train wreck.,
OP asks about PHP, someone replies with NodeJS websockets, completely unrelated.

All said and done, OP's question is primarily opinion based and should thus be closed. Due to its brevity I'm not entirely sure it would be a good fit for Code Review, either. — Dan Pantry 57 secs ago

@TomV AX, damn. That's something I don't want to touch with a 100 foot pole.

@TopinFrassi why?

@TomV Oh, I'm not saying it's bad. It really good at what it does. I just don't want to do what it does :p
From what I know of it

@TopinFrassi ive seen SAP, at least with this monster the docs/community are accessible and technology is fairly standard
oh and ERP consulting pays well
btw, AX had a linq like syntax in the 90's

8:04 PM
@TomV There's no doubt about that. It's more and more popular with enterprises. Where I used to work about half our resources moved from "home development" to AX development.

@TopinFrassi thing is, you don't want to be on that team, cuz most dev is done by consultants, not devs
as exposed by the question I linked, some thinking and processing time goes from an hour to 2 minutes, even though an hour is mostly considered acceptable by the consultants

@syb0rg No. It means it really is radioactive.
Tritium (/ˈtrɪtiəm/ or /ˈtrɪʃiəm/; symbol T or 3H, also known as hydrogen-3) is a radioactive isotope of hydrogen. The nucleus of tritium (sometimes called a triton) contains one proton and two neutrons, whereas the nucleus of protium (by far the most abundant hydrogen isotope) contains one proton and no neutrons. Naturally occurring tritium is extremely rare on Earth, where trace amounts are formed by the interaction of the atmosphere with cosmic rays. The name of this isotope is formed from the Greek word τρίτος (trítos) meaning "third". == DecayEdit == While tritium has several differe...

Oh, well yes I knew the substance was radioactive haha

Not too bad though, half life of 12.5 years or so.
It's used in nuclear fusion.

Also was used in some watches early on to give that glow in the dark effect on the hands

8:08 PM
Yup, military watches used them.

But I don't think they do that anymore since Tritium is a more rare substance
Could be wrong about that tho

@Morwenn On average, but some cases spreadsort looks faster

Once you've figured out what means what you're still no closer to figure out which algorithm is the best

And thanks to Santa I'm only 54 rep away from 3k.

@syb0rg Spreadsort is an integer-specific sort, that's why. It cannot sort anything else.
