@Jamal for me a valid use of the .net tag would be for things that are specific to the .NET framework, like IDisposable, IEnumerable and other things about the framework mechanics. Things that demand not just a knowledge of the language, but also of the framework. C# and VB.NET (and PowerShell, and F#, and many other languages) can work with the framework - .net isn't tied to a specific language.
