Q: Sudoku Solver in C

@Malachi There was one good point in there about using some fast int instead of a normal int because I was using only unsigned values, but that was about it.
 
I thought that I could vote to undelete, but I can't do that yet I guess.

@Malachi I didn't ask him to delete it, that was his own decision. He does get a badge for it though.

@Malachi The point about int_fast8_t was good, but everything else wasn't very useful (some of it being from other answers). Is it worth the trouble?

Again, it's a personal decision. If you think it's worth it, I can super-ping him. As a moderator, I should mostly deal with answers that go against the site policy, which this one does not.

@Malachi Yes, but it would do the work for a very long time. Counting possibilities by brute-force isn't exactly the most efficient method

@SimonAndréForsberg but there is a pattern, so there must be a quicker way to do it than brute force. you probably only have to do 3x3 cubes or something like that.
