Hi @gparyani! Could you please tell me what do you think if we should ask SmokeDetector not to be such regular here? :)
@NicolasChabanovsky In Tavern on the Meta it's set up to not post unless it's been more than 5 minutes later and no one reports that it's a false positive. Looking at the above ten reports, six were marked as false positives, and one was deleted within five minutes. Thus, if said restriction were implemented here, only three messages would be posted above. What do you think?
@gparyani Thanks for the clarification! I've never heard about such restrictions before. I'd add them. Could you please share what we should do to get it in this chat room? As well I think chinese.SE and japanese.SE are out of scope of international sites. International sites are ones that have a non English user interface. Today it's all international SOs and Русский язык.
@NicolasChabanovsky I've pinged the relevant users. The latter should happen very quickly, but the former may take more time.
Thank you very much!
06:24
Information here, Tavern on the Meta gets reports after 5 minutes if they're neither marked as false positive nor deleted.
@iBug hi! Could you please tell me how to mark it false positive?
@NicolasChabanovsky There are many ways, one of the most obvious one is replying f to the report (chat) message in Charcoal HQ or Meta Tavern.
@NicolasChabanovsky You must have metasmoke privileges (which a Charcoal admin can grant). Given that, click the "MS" link and click the X.
@iBug Commands are disabled here
@gparyani thanks, noticed
Interesting!
06:26
My test confirms it.
I'm worrying that, if you want delay, then there's going to be little to no reports, as they're usually handled quickly in Charcoal HQ.
@iBug Three of the ten reports above would have come here.
@iBug The obvious spam ones are. However, for the posts that are not in English, there are often ones that see little, or no, feedback in Charcoal HQ.
yeah, you two got the point. I've added delay to reporting this room
@NicolasChabanovsky The delay is now implemented.

@gparyani Cool! Thank you! :)

@gparyani hi, but this video has subs o_O
@Suvitruf What about the webpage? No subs there
Also are the subs correct?
@gparyani mostly, I guess.
But anyway, I'm a little bit busy right now. Trying to extend my US visa :D

hello, @NicolasChabanovsky the moderator agreement is still in English in SOes: es.stackoverflow.com/legal/moderator-agreement. I reported this in May and was told that this needed some time because of the GDPR: es.meta.stackoverflow.com/q/3486/83
14:45
@NicolasChabanovsky @iBug If we don't have persmision to report false positives here, how can we report them on international sites?
15:09
@fedorqui Hi! It seems on international sites we will not get it translated. I talked to my coworkers about the issue a few years ago in a context of SOru. The answer was that it's a legal document but we do not have neither an entity nor a consultant who would tell us if the doc is okay for a particular country, as a recall the talk.
@gbianchi hi! I have no idea. I've never heard about it before. Probably we can ask to grant the rights to someone?
@NicolasChabanovsky it's sound rasonable.. I don't know the process behind it.. probably some guys with more than X reputation? besides the mods (but I don't think adding a new task to the mods is razonable)..
@gbianchi I have no the rights :) And know nobody who has!
@NicolasChabanovsky lol! we need someone to teach us...
Do you mind try to ask for the right and be this one? :)
@NicolasChabanovsky where? on the main site?
15:15
It looks there is a chat room with the SmokeDetector admins: chat.stackexchange.com/rooms/11540/charcoal-hq
I found link here: metasmoke.erwaysoftware.com
@NicolasChabanovsky ok let me check... because the site said registration is disable...
15:43
@NicolasChabanovsky thanks, I've CW-answered the question indicating this
@fedorqui Thank you! PS I wanted to answer it myself tomorrow :) Your answer works well though.
Пока что ситуация такая. Эта страница несет в себе юридическую силу, просто так перевести её не получится, так как необходимо консультироваться с юристом. На Transifex она доступна не будет. Сейчас идет обсуждение, каким образом проще решить проблему. — Nicolas Chabanovsky ♦ Jan 6 '16 at 11:33
This is my comment on the same question on MSOru.
Just a little notice: I'm not the one who decides on the legal part of the question. The reasons why we keep it in English might be a bit different. That is how I understand it.

@gbianchi All moderators are automatically enabled to provide feedback/commands in Charcoal HQ. Anyone can be enabled to provide feedback (for in-chat feedback, this is granted on a per-room basis). However, The Terminal, currently isn't enabled to accept feedback/commands (this can be changed).

It's also possible to provide feedback through userscripts, but feedback through userscripts requires an account on metasmoke and additional permissions (Reviewer) there (separate from in-chat, per-room permissions). Metasmoke permissions can be granted by a metasmoke admin. You should be able to create an account on metasmoke,

SmokeDetector has a what is page (linked from reports), a wiki, a list of commands, and several more pages with information. If you're wanting to provide feedback, please read the Feedback Guidance page to see some of the criteria applied to edge cases.

@gbianchi Thank you! A lot to read :)
Have not thought that SmokeDetector is such a big application.

@StephenKennedy ╳ You are not a privileged user. Please see the privileges wiki page for information on what privileges are and what is expected of privileged users.

looks at Smokey being stupid slow
as I understand it, mods get the priveledge automatically. Everyone else has to ask in Charcoal HQ.
yep.
(FYI: I'm a Smokey maintainer, so I can always assert my own level of access in any room with a simple commit, but diamond mods do automagically have privs)

Wow! :)
Thank you @ThomasWard! It looks awesome!
17:03
don't forget to ask questions in Charcoal HQ if you have them
that's smokey's home :)
Sure! I will :)
@NicolasChabanovsky mods already have privileges.. I'm not a mod, would have to ask for it...
@gbianchi That would be great. I do not know Spanish, unfortunately, so it would be great to have somebody who does :)
@gbianchi For in-chat SmokeDetector command/feedback permissions for non-moderators, they need to be added for each individual as a line in a config file that's on GitHub (see privileges lists for other rooms for examples; PRs can be submitted). In general, each room chooses the criteria they want to apply to the users providing feedback, subject to override by metasmoke admins (feedback quality).
Various chat rooms have made it their policy that RO permission is required to be added to the permissions list for thier room.
@Makyen That begs the question, are there any rooms which don't have such a policy?
17:17
@StephenKennedy RO stands for?
@StephenKennedy Sort-of.
@gbianchi Room Owner.
@gbianchi Room Owner. The people whose usernames are italicised.
@Makyen ah ok
@NicolasChabanovsky you are the owner, so if you want me to help here, I will need your approve, once I finish reading the OMG long wiki (and thanks god you have a good wiki) :)
17:22
we strive to detail exactly waht we want from Smokey users. :P
@gbianchi I will glad to help :)
@ThomasWard and looks great :)
By the way, this is done

A: Ya nos graduamos, habiliten los audits en las colas de revision

Jon EricsonI apologize for using English here, but my Spanish is a bit rusty. I've turned on audits for this site making it just the ninth site with this feature. Only our most active sites benefit from audits. Please let me know if anything breaks or seems weird. Traducción automatizada: Me disculpo p...

@NicolasChabanovsky Oh you beat me to it :D
I asked my coworkers. They say that the feature is not activated on any int'l sites. Basically that means we probably do not know if it works well with non English texts. If we activate the feature, we need to be carefully about new users and wait for their feedback. That might affect QPD. Please let me know if the community is ready and agrees with that.
@NicolasChabanovsky we have audits??? cool!!!!
@NicolasChabanovsky yep g3rv4 told us that a format test (?) needs to be done, anyway we are getting a lot of things that were ignored, and we are very happy with that, so thanks a lot!
@KacosPro Thank you! I hope we will move forward smoothly now. By the way, I need your answer if the SOes community wants to enable the content check. Could you please discuss it on MSOes?
@NicolasChabanovsky I'll update the post and will tell you what comes from it :)
