@TimB Except for that @Secespitus guy. He's shady.
:D

@James I heed your summons, great Snorter :D
:) 4 days until results...get your votes in everyone

@Secespitus I haven't done that in at least 2 days.
But we should probably take this conversation to general chat...
@James That must be a new record :D

Okay. I've finally cast my full ballot. Took some thinking.
yeah, it's a tricky one this time :)
I kinda thought we'd see more than 8 candidates. I'm . . . still surprised.
@HDE226868 8 seems reasonable. Maybe people looked at the quality of them and didn't bother?
@TimB Yeah, could be.
Apart from that one incident every candidate this time is well qualified...none of the chancers we usually get
18:55
I just keep thinking back to the first election. That was wild. 19, I think.
yeah :)
Although 4 spots were open then, rather than just 2.
@HDE226868 yeah, that took me a while too.
It's a good slate. Hard choices!

Its true and partially weird that we dont have 4+ candidates that are low on the scoreboard, we usually have several. Pretty sure that was me for the first election.
The voting on the first election was weird. If I recall correctly, the first three sorted out quickly and then OpenSTV thrashed for 20 iterations moving tiny piles of votes around until we got a fourth.
I realize it's a single transferable vote, but I sometimes wonder if you should get as many votes as candidates, just because of weirdness at the edges.
@MonicaCellio our election probably exceeded the normal parameters of SE elections. Wouldn't surprise me. We are a strange bunch that do strange things.
Good afternoon
@FreezePhoenix Hola Phoenix
Como estas?
19:34
Eh. Fine. You?

@MonicaCellio I think a lot of us were considering whether tactical voting might come into it, IIRC - i.e. whether people wouldn't vote for those considered strong contenders in order to put more support behind others.
