Good luck to everyone who decides to enter, we have lots of people who could be strong candidates so here's to a good election :)
I'll second that. :D
It's been what, 16, 17 months since the last one? We have plenty of new faces profile pictures around.
Ah...
You mean people who tried at the last election? Existing moderators don't need to stand again - this is purely for new mods.

Ah, I'm sorry. I wasn't clear on the election page that it applied only to new moderators.
Is the moderator position like a supreme court justice, for life, during good behaviour?
With that said, I would hope that anyone who ran in previous years and didn't become a mod consider running again.

@Dent7777 Essentially, yes. Pro-tem mods don't automatically stay mods when their site graduates, but in all other cases, once you're a mod, you're a mod. Most step down eventually for various reasons (e.g. other time commitments, other major developments in life), and there have been a few cases where a mod violated the moderator agreement in some way, and had their diamonds removed.

Well, this is going to be fun

How much rep do you need to vote?
21:22
Hey, can people please not star all the messages? Star spam is a thing, and it takes away from the whole point of starring.
Ha. That was starred. Seriously, though, I'm going to clean out the starboard, with the exception of Grace Note's messages.

@HaaruunI You need 300 rep to self-nominate or vote.
