@Abcd Where did you get the idea that mugging up the actinoid and lanthanoid series is gonna be useful? You need to know the trends in properties for advanced..
@Abcd Well...Our teacher made it super interesting, I swear..Vogel was just a touch-up, but his notes were a stroke of brilliance ..And no, I don't think now would be a good time for Vogel for you..First you need to (painfully maybe) memorise reactions from JEE syllabus from a coaching..Then only you should read it for enhancement once you know the limits
@AdvilSell This song may not be v useful to learn the table. Try learning group wise. Its very easy. They are rhyming sort of. Cr Mo W. (Kramo)... Fe Ru Os (feruos)... etc... Don't learn period-wise
Yeah..Like really I am Kareena Kapoor looking to switch from Bollywood to chemistry, and hence I am hiding my identity by putting up an avatar of a random cool guy in specs playing a guitar
The optimist sees the glass half full. The pessimist sees the glass half empty. The chemist see the glass completely full, half in the liquid state and half in the vapor state.
Florence Flask was getting ready for the opera. All of a sudden, she screamed: "Erlenmeyer, my joules! Somebody has stolen my joules!" The husband replied, "Calm down, honey. We'll find a solution."
@Akari Well.. Melting point is an interplay of intermolecular forces and lattice energy.. As we move down,Van der Waals forces increase and metallic character goes up.. So it should generally increase but if the aton becomes too big, again lattice starts weakening.. But this is again a "reason after result" thing.. And it's not easy to predict when the change in order will occur
