@Rlz The correct answer is e²h. I suspect there might be some confusion about what the coefficient of restitution is. It's the ratio of the final to the initial velocity, and the height is proportional to v², hence we get a factor of e². It's possible the other question confused it with the ratio of final to initial KE, and if that were the case the height would be proportional to the ratio.

Does anyone know how we can transform tensor fields in one coordinate system to another(for arbitrary coordinate systems) in Mathematica? This seems to do it for well known coordinate systems only
