@satan29 I did, so I was prescribed with Liv-52 Tablets, 2 times a day for 4 days and a mild antibiotic, Metron-400
I took Ornidazole few days back, so, this time they had to change antibiotics
Started taking Rhux Tox too, homeopathic weight gainer

Happy Holi everyone here :-)
May your day be as colorful and prosperous as Holi :-)
Back in old days, this used to be one of the candidates for wallpaper in my old laptop, Holi wallpaper
tho, ever used it
@JohnRennie @MoreAnonymous How are you all?
Don't see you all frequently here..
@RewCie I'm usually around, but I'm getting quieter as I get older :-)
@JohnRennie Dang! General Relativists getting older? That's a new thing for me :P
@JohnRennie Today's Sunday probably?
oh, nvm, monday
probably busy day for you...
06:29
@RewCie I'm good ... Sad to hear about ur weight loss. Something similar happened to me when I was preparing for IIT
@MoreAnonymous I'm taking weight gainers for now... Let's see for few weeks then, I'll double my protein intake too....
I think what happened to me atleast was ... I was studying too much
No time for hunger to be noticed
At home your parents take care of your nutrition
06:49
@MoreAnonymous 100% true. I had constipation for lack of fluid intake for first week, then I realized it wasn't inflection, my water intake was less than 2 glasses/day for 4 days... I immediately stopped anti-biotics and took laxatives from then for 2 days...
Hunger and Thirst don't get noticed, at home parents do it...
That's a shame.... But that's how Indian parents raise their kids :P So, blame goes to them :P
@RewCie Take care of your health bro. It's really bad what all can happen when your exerting yourself and your physical health is being neglected
Especially at the level we do for IIT JEE
Honestly that examination should be banned
07:18
The food i understand, but the water. you guys should keep water by your desk so you can keep up fluids without even disrupting work

Q: Soft-question or off-topic question?

VadimWhere is the boundary between a soft-question and an off-topic question? The issue has come up in connection to question Does physics explain why the laws and behaviors observed in biology are as they are? Although I think that the question is quite interesting, and I have much to say on the subj...

@MoreAnonymous +1
Tho, I'm now in engineering
same problem in Indian engineering colleges
too much competitive
@antimony Damn! Now you can guess what kind of dumb guy I am.... I don't know why do I lock my bottle in locker each time, I need it, I open it... Keeping bottle on desk during studies didn't happen in my mind....
damn! I'm super dumb! ,_,

Q: How acceptable is prosemirror-math as an editor style for this site?

Emilio PisantyThis is a follow-up to one of the possible answers raised in the thread The proposed changes to the text editor would break this site. Prosemirror-math is a math editing framework that allows for direct editing of a rich-text preview. The mathematics is automatically rendered, and it is converted...

@JohnRennie that's both funny and not really funny :P
We've all met that person :-)
rob
rob
16:27
Heck, most of us have been that person.
yeah, I've been on both sides of that conversation

In fact, I have been the person making the joke and the person annoyed by the joke at the same time.

Recently I've been reading some about "quantum cognition" (I promise I'm not just making that term up) and I think it's pretty interesting.

hey I am in odd situation
I am interviewing for electric engineering but I know nothing about it
so how can I learn electronics and electrodynamics in 2 week
... what exactly are you interviewing for?
22:53
@eryceriousmatherfunker Very first step is to get a better idea of what specific subtopics are relevant to the position. You could maybe use this as a list of topics that might be relevant to electrical engineering.
23:17
@PhiNotPi for joining the university as high schooler
And when my school provided with simulation interview they asked me about undergraduate stuff
so I hope to prepare to answer question regarding to physics due to electric engineering is physics heavy
I have background in math and computer science
and it is hard to learn physics because they don't give show you how something like gravity constant is derived and most of them (teachers and students) are like blindly following law and depend on rote memory
The gravitational constant is not derived, it is an experimentally measured parameter.
that's something that most of my book doesn't show
