I think it's exacerbated by the fact that the user doesn't seem to be very good at English. The way he writes it comes off as more offensive than what I think he was trying to say. But it's also true that the whole discussion is probably not constructive.

@Krazer More like how much time the answerer has spent on that site. I tend to view average rep per answer (excluding rep from questions entirely) as a better measure of how good a person's answers are.
@Mysticial True, but I still think those special cases are less significant overall compared to the number of high rep users who are only there because they give mediocre answers to 20 questions per day or something ridiculous like that.

Needed to find the coefficient of x^n in the power series expansion for (-x/(1-e^x))^(n+1), and I decided to try a silly approach. Turns out it's way faster than taking n derivatives of the expression; I solved it in 2 lines or so.
@user58512 I don't think it's a good show or manga, lol. Maybe you'll find it funny, but I just thought it was average. But if you really want to check it out, the anime is a bit better because the voice acting is good and it's short episodes (3 minutes or so)
