I've been really getting into chess recently. I played a fair bit growing up, but now I'm starting to play more regularly and use analysis tools (mostly just lichess)
A funny situation that happened in a real game I'm in:
I've only ever played casually with friends/family. I've always felt intimidated trying to get more into it, because it's a very drawn out learning curve.
Ooooh...in StS, I'd love it if they had Combo classes. You have the cards/relics available to you from two classes. You don't get special starter cards or relics, but you do get 2 orb slots if you are including defect.
It's like the prismatic shard, but now it is something you can figure out how to play
Because prismatic shard is almost always terrible because it is hard to find, too expensive, and too variable to be good in the middle of a run
Saw some gameplay footage of Creature in the Well over the weekend (Steam link). Top-down hack-and-slash pinball roguelike. Not exactly something I'm interested in, but it was different enough I figure I'd share here.
