8:01 AM
my very busy day is starting with sitting at my desk for 90 minutes because someone didn't turn up to a meeting :)))))))

Well, that's an easy way to earn money!

as much as it is easy, its boring and i'd genuinely like to be getting on with my overall task... yet i can't

Yeah, it's frustrating as well, I know... I've been working on something for a week now, while I probably could've been done in two days if it weren't for meetings :|

i think i'm supposed to have 8 meetings today but one has already not happened and two have been rescheduled

8:11 AM
probably a yay

Q: Is it all right to tell a friend that I like her married friend?

user33976I am a male in my 30s, and I like a girl (LIR) who got married recently. She knew that I liked her, but rejected me long ago, and I never pestered her afterwards. I happen to know her best friend (BFT) (who knows my interest in her friend), and even before she (LIR) got married (LIR) used to occa...

i think this question might be salvageable if we edit it to centre around dating etiquette

12:20 PM
Well the edit certainly didn't help XD
I wouldn't make it around dating etiquette, this hasn't much to do with dating anymore.
I don't think my comment was written in Chinese, so leave it up to the OP to actually clarify a problem first.

@ExtrovertedMainMan is it alright? kinda

Q: How to offer my availability ( time and date ) when I ask for interview?

Sam BFor some research I have to interview expert in the field. I can easily approach them and convince them for an interview. However I struggle to properly set a date and time. I think there is something wrong with the way I ask them. I set up an online calendar with all my availabilities. People ca...

@ExtrovertedMainMan this looks like a phrasing question, which i'm not explicitly sure is on topic?

Q: CBD in Mainstream?

Ms.Fix-A-LotCannabidiol (CBD) has received a lot of press lately, and you might have used it as a supplement in your post-workout smoothie or morning coffee. What is CBD, exactly? What's the deal with it being so famous all of a sudden?

@ExtrovertedMainMan this should be removed. nothing to do with IPS

Invalid feedback type. Valid feedback types are tp, fp, rude, and wrongo

@IPSCommentBot tp

Marked this comment as flaggable (tp). Currently marked 1tps/0fps. beep boop My human overlords won't let me flag that, so you'll have to do it yourself.

What do tp and fp stand for, anyway? And what do these do?

true / false positive. i believe its to help improve the bots detection system

true positive and false positive

I see.

I can't remember what exactly the comment bot does off the top of my head

it looks for flaggable comments i believe

@JourneymanGeek Just report comments, ones that are believed to be flaggable go in this room, based on Regex. Was very necessary when the site was much, much more noisy. These days, it's still a useful thing to make life a little bit lazier ;)

Always good.

Back in day, didn't have possessive pronouns.

7:09 PM
"Back in my day, we didn't have ___" joke.

7:35 PM
Yeah, I'm not sure how the 'possessive pronouns' part is funny though? :P

I tried.

@Sarov Haha do not worry please because I tried to fit various "supposedly missing" words; you didn't have possessive pronouns and I thought that the pointa is "Back in day, didn't have possessive pronouns" should be "Back in OUR day, WE didn't have YOUR possessive pronouns" :D

11:33 PM
I thought of it 'cause of the old joke, "Back in my day, we didn't have plural."
