Oof. I luckily had a pretty awesome guy who was supportive and gave me a whole like "Thanks for taking the time to contact me personally and let me know how you feel. If you ever need help again in the future, my door is always open to you. It was great to have you as a client!" but I can definitely see that not being the case for everyone :/

@EmC Oh dear, what an awful situation :/ I usually ghost too and I would hate being forced to not do that

I remember, the first time I had to break up with my therapist, I actually asked my mom to do it for me ^^ (and she did, thank you mum <3 )

That's what I'd expect. I've never had a bad one ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but that doesn't make it any easier to go into and actually do lol
