As in the title, the girlfriend would be away for 3 days due to her occupation. I try to enable some casual banter on day 1 through text, which is read & ignored. I make a single phone call 24hours later which isn't answered due to being busy and send another text a few hours later just to check ...

A bit tired. Had yesterday my first meeting at at 8 am and my last meeting from 4.30pm to 5.30 and from 6 to 8 pm I attended a a self counceling therapy group for autists. after that I I had to discuss afew things with the landlord and having forgotten that it couldn't have been that early anymore, I headed into my phone for a few quick chitchats which made me forget time and then....

it was already 11.30 pm when I realized I had not eaten anything so far. so I had dinner at 12pm (or is it am?) and came to bed half past midnight just to have my alarm ringing again at 5am >.<

But relocation is done adn I really love my new apartment :)

It is beautiful :)

I'm good. Things are crazy at work, I work way too much. So on Tuesday I went swimming with my friends and afterwards we went dancing ... I got to sleep at 6.15AM, which is the time at which I normally wake up. I drank too much but I really enjoyed my night ^^

@avazula Ikr x) First I was scared, it might look too empty (well the couch needs at least another little table). But after I was done I found this having its very own charme. And since I am a dancer.... I have even the spare space for dancing with someone if I feel like in my own living room thats so cool :)

@Ælis Well happened to me once or twice too. Its just having the mind occupied makes things like that happen. SO don't feel too bad about it :) Be happy, at least you didn't manage to enter the train in a wrong direction and instead of actually getting home, you realize that something is wrong when you end in a final station in the wrong country '^.^

Most posts are like "Hey, I watched this demo: ... How can I reproduce that?"

and stuff like that.... so actually people are spamming that SO tag.... shouldn't be allowed. (And maybe it even isn't)

Yeah, if people are flooding SO with bad question, it's a problem :/

@JAD Tastes differ. I almost tried to go and buy a 'woonboot' yesterday, but I forgot about the amount of money upkeep would cost, or 'liggeld'. My dad always spoils the fun with his rationality :P It was a very pretty woonboot

@Tinkeringbell Yeah its wonderfull.... it gives an very cozy feeling. has something of a high tech cave x) And it is like every room has some rock fragments in their walls. the cut-out to the kitchen and on the other picture the element to the right being the main segments but pairs of 2-3 stones or even single stones comming out of the walls in every room (but allways in places where you couldn't place cupboards or that alike anyways :)

@Magisch Nah, not moveable (or at least, not as moveable as it seems :P) They usually are always anchored at the same spot, as they have plumbing and stuff too ;)

You can move them, but it's a bit of 'you can move a house if you want to, but it's not practical'

@Tinkeringbell Well.... My plants keep dying and I have like 3 books as I am not into reading... So I will just keep it handy. But yeah, something will be done with it.... But now you say it.... I could do something with synthetical moss on top of that shelves so it looks like.... a cozy cave :'D

@Magisch Hah. Lemme look, there were some pictures I think of woonboten getting damaged because of low water, I can guess it would be the same for extremely high.

You can see how slanted it is, due to low water levels last summer

@Ælis Because it is ... something :P You get to lieve on the water, but with cable internet and plumbing, and you're also always near a road and often even close to a city :)

@Ælis A woonboot has more practical comforts and often a bit more space, so it's more suitable for those who want to live in one spot :)

woonboat is a floating house, houseboat is a ship you live in by the looks of it

the difference is the degree of mobility

@Ælis in denmark afaik it is a problem. for germany, I am not too sure. but I know its connected with quite some paperwork.

But for denmark you aren't even allowed to live in your beach house for longer than 2 months a year, as long you aren't a pensioner.

So maybe the same reason applys for your houseboat :D

Well not 100% sure about hosueboats, but for vacation houses build at the beach or in some very natural forests, no you aren't allowed to declare them as your main residence as long you aren'ta pensionier

@dhein I guess you can still fill some paperwork and pay more in order to be able to live there as long as you want, isn't it?

And I think it was the same for something like houseboats.

@Ælis Nono, the reason for this is the danish government heavily subsidizes these buildings to make denmark attractive for tourism. So if you build such a building in a place being considered tourism area which is almost everything close to (or in this case IN) the water, you get like 50% of the costs just by the government. But therefor it is forbidden to live in such houses as your main residence.

non first residences should be heavily taxed imo. If you can afford a vacation house or rental property, you're an investor and income beyond maintenance of such places should be taxed as capital gains

while incentivizing people to own their first residence homes seems like a smart policy

@Magisch Well I think its just a way of privatizing the tourism market in denmark. What generally isn't a bad thing :)

But I find it kinda frustrating if I imagined there is that one place I find so wonderfull, but no amtter what, I won't be allowed by law to live there before I am pensionist... '^.^

On the other hand, my best friend Bailey... she is diagnosed chronic unable to work due to her anxietys and social phobias from autism (if I find that appropiate is another story). So she qualifies as pensionist and will be allowed to live in such a house. She just planed buying one over the past months and 3 days ago she got one for 635.000 Danish Krone. What is like 80.000€ So generally quite a neat price for a beach house to live in :D

80.000 is neat for a house

a small townhouse goes for 300.000 in the city here. In frankfurt is even more ridiculous. The house my aunt and her husband bought some 25 years ago in a suburb of frankfurt is now worth 4 times what it was then. Unsustainable as hell
