Maybe it's just because I watched a Wes Anderson film and am therefore not thinking straight, but I feel like these conversations are making less and less sense.

@BeastlyGerbil @Sid He's talking sense. A humn speech is like a good poem - you can appreciate it first for the beauty of its language, then for the truth of its message, then for the depth of its meaning.

I got lost on the way home just now.
Usually my homeless counterparts are guiding lights, but no such luck this time.
I've met enough homeless to fill a "vignettes" file and to empty pockets.
Whether I give willingly or get shuffled, all I ask in return is a story.
Tonight, though, all I had to go by was half a moon and two bright planets.
Made me smile.

... just tried to add a definition of "shuffled" to Urban Dictionary but they wouldn't accept my SE/SO ID ...
Shuffle: Tough talk for accosting someone, cutting them in half (figuratively and threateningly speaking), taking their best pieces, and leaving the remains scattered on the ground.
