I asked on my chat of origin whether they want this, we don't often get spammers but it still happens from time to time, probably less than on IPS though because we have less traffic, also I noticed there are some users on Pets which only ever become active to flag this spam, they are often active on Main Meta Stack and Smoke Detector chat and they use their Pets accounts only to do this and nothing else, I think it's interesting and reminds me of how undercover cops work, but also...
... if someone on Pets is not using this Smoke Detector chat then they will miss out notifications like this, I think it would be beneficial if we also had this on Pets chat.
I have the same issue as this, except my problem is I respond before thinking, like an automatic reaction. If I think about it, It's easy to politely tell someone no. — dustytrash3 mins ago
@CaldeiraG Nice to hear that! Not so good, I have later an appointment for a phone call with my professor and I am a little bit stressed out about that :x
@Syralia Working, not chatting too much here (because it would go against working), reading this nice new book I just bought and doing some grocery shopping because I need to. You?
Any plans for cooking or justb the basic groceries? Na nothing much, owkring on my thesis project, wait for the phone call appointment with my professor and try not to cry untail then :D The daylie routine i guess
@Syralia I never cook. The most cooking I do is when I make pasta in the weekend instead of instant noodles. I am almost out of soup, that's why I need to go grocery shopping and I will also restack on some other things (like orange juice and stuff)
@Syralia Oh no, I'm not easy to satisfy with food. It's just that I have some health condition and cooking is exhausting for me. So I eat "basic" stuff because I need it to survive but I don't actually enjoy it
No matter what I say or do, I am truly just always asking questions about what I do not understand to people who are capable of helping me understand what I need to know about that topic, and no one seems to be willing to answer me, and normally treat me like a retard... I am autistic with aspber...
@Syralia It's the end of the week so something I didn't want to eat earlier because it didn't look good >< (all my lunchs for one week are delivered at the same time on Monday, so I usually eat the best ones the first three days of the weeks and then I hope the one that are left aren't too bad)
@Ael I've been tasked with organizing a bootcamp on the software my team is working on for my freshly-arrived coworkers. I think they'll have a pretty good idea of who I am when they see I wrote everything in a gender-neutral way :p
@ava You know I almost asked you to phone me this morning? I had lost my phone in my 17m2 appartement x) (thankfully I found again more or less near were it was suppose to be)
I thought I had lost my driver license the other day ... whereas it was in my copier the whole time. I forgot I had to scan it at some point. It means I drove without my ID for a while (probably at least a few weeks? :o)
Ah yeah, this tend to happen fairly often with copier. Also, my sister was convince she lost a check the other day. She told my father "it's not in my bag". Turns out she finally found it... in her bag x)
@CaldeiraG Okay it looks like they don't want Smoke Detector in Litter Box ^_^ thanks for jumping in and saying this, I also think there are no downsides of it, maybe they are worried it will be a nuisance to remember about changing batteries in this smoke detector? :D Maybe they are right that it's not that much needed, but if there is so low amount of spam adverts then this smoke detector would just stay silent and invisible, wouldn't it? Maybe it's really about the batteries then? :D
My friend suggested that a recent and ongoing flare of my autoimmune disease was causing my ongoing depression. She is a very close friend, and I love her dearly, but she is much less educated than I am -- I am not at all saying she is not intelligent. I am a retired psychiatrist. She suggested I...
