When I saw the post about migration I was going to say something, but figure in this case experience was a good teacher.
Most sites, the more established the more so, appreciate migrations of only good questions. Even if it is on-topic there, a low quality post is still low quality.
I'm given to understand that mods try to help each other out, especially the newly minted ones.
If nothing else, excluding this question, you may try going to a sites main chat and find a mod, ask them to review the questionable post. They can say migrate if they like it, or post a comment suggesting the reasking to the OP
In my experience with Gilles to date, he is somewhat direct, but also fair, and has an extremely dry sense of humor. At least, that's how it comes off to me
I do suspect that, once we're a graduated site, CompSci and Theoretical CompSci will become two of our primary migration targets. Possibly MathEd as well.
Well... That's good to know. And that increases the likely hood of it being a target. Possible that we get students here, and that might be a transfer point.
Before I turned 19 I just kind of... fell into coding. I used to think programming was something incredibly hard that only child prodigies and people with a 160+ IQ could do. (A view often reinforced by Hollywood stereotypes.) And I thought that I just wasn't smart enough.
Since getting into pro...
He said that the question could be criticized, and could probably use some modification for the backstory part, but that in general, something like it would be welcome there.
And rarely do non-core visit here. Though they do float through.
From what I've seen on other sites, that's not a problem. Many meta posts have been seen that question the actions of a site mod. And, on occasion I've seen the same in the Super User chat room as well.

MB = "MEGA BYTE" and Mb = "MEGA bit" i know a lot of guys confuse those. internet speed nowadays is calculated in Mbps; do you know that google fiber provide 1Gbps speed.
In telecommunication and electronics, baud (, unit symbol Bd) is the unit for symbol rate or modulation rate in symbols per second or pulses per second. It is the number of distinct symbol changes (signaling events) made to the transmission medium per second in a digitally modulated signal or a line code.
Digital data modem manufacturers commonly define the baud as the modulation rate of data transmission and express it as bits per second.
Baud is related to gross bit rate expressed as bits per second.

The symbol duration time, also known as unit interval, can be directly measured...
to host his isp he need a DHCP server and a lot of configuration how is this even possible? modem are known to have lots of vulnerabilities some allow you to use internet for free.
I'll be honest, I was a bit crestfallen when I didn't get picked, but 30 mins later I saw that it was a better choice, all around. And now it's back to the asking questions, answering questions and attacking the review queue :P
I've also been on SE as a whole for only a few months. And the CMs aren't going to entrust a new site to someone that doesn't have much of a record for them to evaluate.
@ItamarGreen Ok I've created a folder on my Drive, and it has a photo in it. The folder should be here. See if you can add something, anything, and if you can delete the photo.
