On a totally unrelated note, not only was I able to find a title I was looking for, but it has been uploaded to the Internet Archive, so I was able to read it.
As to the diacritics, it's probably not worth it (in the short term). The ones I know I'm fixing as I go (like Lúthien, Númenor and Fëanor) and once this pass is finished we can check if there are any others that occur often enough to search for but not so often it's impossible to fix them all.
