It is no secret that the vast majority of characters who appear in the MCU are based on characters from the comics. Sometimes it is their name; sometimes it is their appearance. Sometimes an entire character's personality and backstory are imported; sometimes it is very little, leaning toward ...
Like, I was reading about the plot of the Loki TV series, and I heard that there were some TVA employees named Ravonna Renslayer and Mobius M. Mobius. So I thought, well, there is literally no reason for these characters to be based on the comics, right? Their roles seem to have been created for a context specific to the MCU.
Nope! Apparently they both have extensive comics histories, with only a light relation to their MCU roles.
I'm looking for a book I read back in school, probably in the period 1991-1996. What I remember of the book is:
I think it's set in Sydney, Australia
The main characters are a boy and a girl

@TheLethalCarrot Also watched it roughly when it came out, it's pretty forgettable

Towards the end of the movie, I remember each of the characters sing/discuss taking responsibility for their actions (this is in contrast to the song where they place blame), some dialogue from around that time seems to affirm my memory (although I cannot place an exact quote):

Based on the preview, it looks like spoiler tags don't work in tables.
So are there any options for hiding a spoiler in a table?

It'll soon be time to choose the topic for the August topic challenge. Currently there's a tie between two proposals beginning with the same two letters: the Elder Scrolls and Elizabeth Moon. More votes welcome!
In ST:DS9 4x15 "Sons of Mogh," Kurn attempts Klingon ritual suicide so as to enter StoVoKor by dying with honor. By the end of the episode, Worf has his memories erased and he is taken in by a family friend as Rodek, son of Noggra.
As a Klingon, I don't get how Worf was okay doing this. More to t...
Rick seems to think that life has very little meaning, and he has been shown to be depressed and suicidal (at least in early episodes). But he also has all kinds of automatic defense systems for his house, his spaceship-made-of-garbage and his person. If he cares so little about his own life, wh...
This is what I remember of this story I read 30-40 years ago.
A man and a woman get accidentally connected by phone and decide to meet at a certain place at a certain time.
Then later they get accidentally connected by phone again, both are angry that the other person didn't show up although they...
It's about two boys and one girl, they're all martial artists. When I watched it as kid it always played on Megamax. All I can remember is that the girl had black hair and one of the boys had hair accessories like Japanese culture.
There's one specific episode I remember and it's about how said b...
This is a manga (Japanese comic). The story began, if I remember correctly, with the main character running into a "dog" (which is actually a Shadow Wolf monster) with a car. After that and checking the corpse he finds it strange and suddenly receives level up notice and few more messages. I thin...
