Afaik, ⎕PFKEY always works, except that you can't press F-keys directly through RIDE.

It is documented under ]USetup.

… which doesn't really make sense. It was originally in the user command user guide, but we lost it when we moved all specific command documentation to the interactive system. Doesn't matter so much now, as it really isn't what people should use going forward.

From 19.0, you can easily have as many functions you want run at start-up time.

gotcha, one last complaint. The environment variables EDITOR_COLUMNS_NAMESPACE and EDITOR_COLUMNS_FUNCTION cannot be set in ~/.dyalog/dyalog.dcfg instead I had to set it in my profile.
