From 19.0, you can easily have as many functions you want run at start-up time.
gotcha, one last complaint. The environment variables EDITOR_COLUMNS_NAMESPACE and EDITOR_COLUMNS_FUNCTION cannot be set in ~/.dyalog/dyalog.dcfg instead I had to set it in my profile.
