@RikedyP @Adám I've managed to get nic's covid plots to work (I think). A few observations: sharpplot is crushingly slow in a notebook context (the covid example takes more than 5 mins to render). Much snappier in the session itself. Curiously, when using View in the session, I also get postage-stamp-sized charts -- so that bit seems to be separate from the jupyter kernel.

Anyway: Plotting with SharpPlot -- xpqz.github.io/cultivations/Plotting.html
 
I wonder if SharpPlot can work with .NET "Core".
 
It's a power tool for sure. I'd like to learn it properly at some stage.
If we can get the View thing to work in notebooks, it's a worthy competitor to the (many) python plotting packages.
