@Uriel No, I think they are Israeli (though based in the US) and just want to use comfortable names. Not everyone codes "in English". I asked some of our Italian customers; they have lots of code with Italian names. And I've seen Danish too.

@Adám well, it's more common of ones who dislike English to use Latin characters to spell local names, like
memutza = schum / godel

@Uriel Personally, I don't mind Hebrew and Yiddish written in Latin characters, as long as the spelling scheme makes sense (to me).
