Hello everyone o/ Does anyone know a way to force integers to be interpreted as character vectors?

@J.Sallé
I'm not sure which of the below you mean, so here are both:
⍕¨65 66 67 <-> '65' '66' '67'
80 ⎕DR 65 66 67 <-> 'ABC'

@ngn oh thanks! It's the first one I needed.

So, if I have several items on a vector and want to concatenate them into a single item, how do I do it? I've tried using , and ,/ as well as , but those don't do what I need. Also tried using and to enclose each item before concatenating, didn't work.

@J.Sallé example of what you want it to do?

@dzaima given 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9, I want to transform it into a single string (or number, doesn't really matter) 123456789

#; ,/⍕¨1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

@dzaima
 123456789

Okay, great! I knew I had to use ,/ but I didn't know I had to reformat the vector
Thanks a lot :)

I managed to make 2 different functions for this challenge and then went and posted the wrong one. Good job, me. facepalm

if you concatenate vectors with ,/ the result will be enclosed, so what you probably need is ⊃,/
for golfing it's more efficient to flatten the vector of vectors with monadic ∊
note also that there's the built-in constant ⎕d for '0123456789'
