Hello all
@samcarter_is_at_topanswers.xyz @Rmano I am having problems with the answers you gave to me about beamer and tikz. I don't see where I can achieve what I want from your answers. Please consider this code:
\documentclass{beamer}

\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}

\usepackage{tikz}
\usetikzlibrary{arrows,overlay-beamer-styles}

\begin{document}

\begin{frame}
\begin{center}
\begin{tikzpicture}[>=stealth',thick]
\node at (0,0) (1) {$1$};
\node at (2,0) (2) {$2$};
\end{tikzpicture}
\end{center}
\end{frame}

\begin{frame}
\begin{center}
\begin{tikzpicture}[>=stealth',thick]
\node at (0,0) (1) {$1$};
\node at (2,0) (2) {$2$};
\draw (1) edge[bend left,->] (2);
\end{tikzpicture}
\end{center}
\end{frame}

\begin{frame}
If I use \only, I don't get the rest of the drawing (because it is only shown on a single frame), and I don't know how to use commands like \draw<2>... or \draw<2->.... I want to start with a simple graph and adding new stuff to all subsequent frames, as shown in the sample code. Could you help me, please?

Morning all

Good morninggggg, have a nice day in quarantine!!
@Rmano Thanks!! I will take a look

@samcarter_is_at_topanswers.xyz the problem with tikzposter is not the center environment - that is a simple list and breaks fine. But the class adds also a \begin{tikzpicture} at begin document. If you want two pages you can do something like this:
\documentclass{tikzposter}
\begin{document}
\node{abc};
\end{tikzpicture}
\newpage
\begin{tikzpicture}
\node{cde};
\end{document}

@PauloCereda Hi
@UlrikeFischer I've sent the updates to CTAN

@JosephWright ah good. Did you get the colorspace test file?

@UlrikeFischer Yes, I'm thinking about it and will reply a bit later

@JosephWright no hurry, just wanted to know if it arrived.

@UlrikeFischer @daleif Thanks once more for the bug report the other day, it's much appreciated. We'll go forward and improve the list of suggestions. If you (or others here) were willing to have a look at the list and suggest some additions/removals, I can send you a link to a sheet where plan this before making the changes.

@yo' Go a head. I cannot promise anything but I'll have a look

Who would like to create a few stroke order diagrams? :()

@Skillmonlikestopanswers.xyz You must be in the mood to create a few stroke order diagrams. :()

yo'
@daleif Thanks! Expect a mail later :)

@cis sorry, I'm absolutely not :( I have to correct quite a few exams and prepare a experimental course for tomorrow :(

cis
@Skillmonlikestopanswers.xyz Oh what a pity. It's quite a Sisyphean job.

@cis believe me, correcting students' exams is one, too.

Overleaf now provides the latexmk logs! (I'm sure some people here requested this, but I don't remember who exactly it was...)

@yo' yet no arara... /sob

yo'
@PauloCereda yeah we know :( but that would really mean a lot of changes, and in particular, it would aim on people that prefer to work online, but don't like any standard setups...

@yo' no worries. :) <3

4:20 PM
@JosephWright @UlrikeFischer learnlatex now uses latex-on-http if the example is using platex or always on android firefox, I want to change the LaTeX.Online button to something a bit more neutral perhaps just changing it to LaTeX Online is enough? Then document somewhere that it uses latexonline.cc or YtoTech/latex-on-http depending. ??

@DavidCarlisle Sounds good to me: I'd just use 'LaTeX Online'

@JosephWright I'll set that up. So now only the backend=bibtex hidden edits to the submitted document (both systems need that at the moment)

@DavidCarlisle what is latex-on-http?

@DavidCarlisle Great

@UlrikeFischer it's sort of identical to latexonline.cc but implemented completely differently but he saw my github issue asking for platex support in latexonline and added it to his version and pinged me....

4:26 PM
@DavidCarlisle People seems to be quite eager to help ;-). I still can't really run on my android (with opera). It doesn't loop but the download notification doesn't allow to close the window.

@UlrikeFischer it doesn't try to have the flashing Compiling.... which means there is a worrying wait while nothing is happening on the desktop but it means you don't get a new pdf every three seconds in mobile firefox :-)
@UlrikeFischer that will still be latexonline I think currently I'm specifically just looking for android and firefo in the user agent, but it's not that usable it downloads it then you'd have to navigate to downloads to open the pdf, but at least it doesn't loop

4:56 PM
Well that's an interesting feature....

@DavidCarlisle the suspense is killing me ...

@UlrikeFischer I thought I had completely broken the learnlatex.org site but It works on other browsers so I think I just confused my firefox I'll clear the cache in a bit. on Chrome I get:

@DavidCarlisle What is this for a project?

@DavidCarlisle ^^^ you see one only need to add a bit japanese to get people interested ...

6:13 PM
@UlrikeFischer much more interesting than German:)

@DavidCarlisle at least we have some dots and a beta.

@UlrikeFischer but no spaces and hardly anyone can find z

8:30 PM
@PauloCereda ̊̊h

8:51 PM
@DavidCarlisle how did you make this?

@UlrikeFischer Ask Mister Ångström
@UlrikeFischer but it was because of this: learnlatex.org/ja/language-02

@barbarabeeton ohh i see, hmm research done to find the code in AMS class articles :)

@DavidCarlisle it works fine and is quite vertical ;-).

9:06 PM
@BAYMAX -- It's essentially the code that sets \subjclass, \keywords, and \thanks, which are not set directly, but delayed. (I used to be a member of the AMS TeXnical support group, so am fairly familiar with these files.)

@barbarabeeton oh cool! am new to this but i couldn't get 'delayed'?

@BAYMAX -- The elements that are to be set as numberless "first page footnotes" are read in, stored in temporary "holding" token lists or boxes (I've forgotten which), then regurgitated and output when \maketitle gets to the right place. That's what I meant by "delayed".

@barbarabeeton Oh nice! thanks for the detailed explanation! I am getting something now :)

9:44 PM
@Rmano works like a charm! Perhaps <n-> did not work for me because I realized that the index of the rest of frame does matter hahaha. Now I am in trouble with use as bounding box, because as you have mentioned, the graph in the first frame is a little bit moved with respect to the other frames. I don't know how to use use as bounding box, I tried in the optional argument of tikzpicture but it did not do anything
