@JosephWright Me neither, but the whole submitting system seems to be faulty. I mean forcing the authors to polish the reference section which is useless effort and a waste of time if there ist some post-submittng-processing.
Visiting the 2015 community ads on Academia.SX, I can see that TeX.SX does not have any advertisements on the site. Why does not TeX.SX have an ad there?

I want to propose TeX.SX and promote it on the Academia.SX's Community Promotion Ads - 2015 but I do not find any image to put in the advertisement. Is there any image for such purpose which is specifically designed for TeX.SX?

I really like TeX.SX. I learnt so many of my LaTeX knowledge from this site. I want to help this site grow... Users are kind, perfect, professional LaTeX users.... I love this site.
@EnthusiasticStudent As it seems there is no ready-to-use picture, i would ask for contributions/suggestion for a promotional add. A bunch of different answers, community decides by votes who wins.
What about asking this guy on Stack Exchange to design something for our site. He is the one whom I think designed Academia's web appearance and graphics:
@EnthusiasticStudent As he is a mod i think Joseph can get in touch with him. You could as well get to the their chat rom (which i see you just did) and promote our meta question there.
One problem i see is: How to envision something you have no clue about? LaTeX might be a mere word for most of them, having no clue what it is related to, and what are advantages that might be included in the add.
So I get an email from a random student using my dissertation class. Her: "Here's a huge list of things the graduate school complained about my thesis formatting. I've been trying to fix the style file but I'm a beginner." Me: "It's all your document, not the class." A few hours later... Her: "It was my document."

i cant believe how few ppl are interested in furniture. we are surrounded by it every day, we use it every day (unless we're living in a cave) - yet people barely notice it
@Jez it would not, I just point out a significant overlap. Especially with relation to your comment: "so you sit in chairs all the time, use tables and bookcases etc. and you dont care about them?" and the subsequent ones.

@yo' I have severe OCD and PTSD. I have not worked for 8 years. Right now, I am trying to get well and get on with life, but that may never happen. I will keep trying, but I don't know what will happen to me. I am living with my mum who takes care of me. This I told @JosephWright and @PauloCereda yesterday. Now you know too.
@PauloCereda Say X depends on A, B and C. And nothing else depends on A, B and C. Currently, yum remove X does not remove A, B and C. It only removes X. However, if Y depends on X, it will remove Y, of course.
To update everyone, there is now a new distro called Ubuntu MATE, and Linux Mint will have a new edition based on Debian instead of Ubuntu called LMDE.
@ChristianHupfer Oh, if that was not a joke, that is the thing that allows you to type math in Word. It works pretty well actually. For high school math, it is sufficient. No need for LaTeX!
