I might need some help because although I've used lilypond in the past, I used it as a standalone document generation instead of book integration. >>>

Well, this tex.SE answer states ISO 31/XI suggests the upright version, which might be considered a standard. However I agree it's too minor to justify an edit - though providing a global \d or similar might improve the readability of the "correct" typesetting. — Tobias Kienzler 31 mins ago

Is TeX.SE the appropriate place to ask a question about a localized error related to LuaLaTeX and a single specific typeface? The issue only appears on my distribution on this system. I've succesfully compiled the exact same document on my laptop, for instance.
