@Johannes_B Hehe, That is true. The Op asks a very badly phrased question. I try to answer, he downvotes me and further says that I don't know english or I am drunk or I am slow. Punch line is as he said - "You are just wasting my time"! :)
Who is wasting time? is the real question. I think I should mind my day time business for today (at least) :)
@HarishKumar Happened to all of us i think. I a questioner is setting me in a real bad mood, i make him aware, that he may choose between my (or our) help. Or personal support for serious money.
@HarishKumar But it's not worth it, i think. Relax and keep calm is the best way to stay healthy.
@HarishKumar Some people tend to think that a magic spell such as tcolorbox would solve all their problems; ignoring the fact that line breaking is completely different from page breaking. You helped that user by pointing to a working solution to a problem and received a “peculiar thank you”. :( Just ignore.

As Mark Twain put it, “Never argue with stupid people. They will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.”
@HarishKumar By the way, is there a meaning in the name “Harish“? My name comes from German and it means “home ruler”. Several kings and emperors had the same name, actually one of them is a saint (he's buried in one of the most beautiful churches I know, it's in Bamberg).
When I use "\thanks" in IEEEtran, an extra page including a "1" at the top left corner appears before the first page. Here is a MWE:

\usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
\usepackage[latin9]{inputenc}
\usepackage{babel}

Hi, I tried to vote to migrate the question tex.stackexchange.com/questions/162213/… to stackoverflow, but that site doesn't appear as option, only meta.TX. Why is it sometimes possible to suggest a site for migration and sometimes not?
I work at disability services at a university and recently started working with a completely blind student in upper level computer theory, automaton, and programming classes. I learned Latex about 3-4 weeks ago per the student's request so that the student could get the notes in that form and co...
@texenthusiast I was confused as I looked up tiger embosser and it seemed to say it was a Braille printer which wasn't what I expected for showing the output graphics?
@TheLastError Yes How close I am towards nearest gold or silver badge progress bar statistic is missing I think, but you may be see tex.stackexchange.com/help/badges
@TheLastError ah, well, here, you have the statistics of answer upvotes and questions and answers posted (together). That gives a rough idea (the problem is that you can't get to know how many of them are answers, the vote coutns are correct:
This means I have 2000+ votes on answers to questions tagged tex-core and I have 190 answers in that tag. The gold badge is assigned with 200 answers and at least 1000 upvotes.
Does a dirty trick work? I mean if I want to get a gold in PSTricks (for example) quickly, I add pstricks tag for each question in which I got voted up.
@TheLastError you can do that, but 1) you don't quite have the rep just now :p and 2) remember that for such tweaks, mods can slap you on your hands ;)
My goal is to choose a "nice" font family (serif, sans serif, monospace, and "math") for my basic LaTeX template.
I know the default setting (Computer Modern's family) is a very good choice.
However, I want something a bit less "by default", a bit less "used by everyone else"...
Also, I would li...
