@ArturMeinild Well, there is an initial 'flag' window and it is possible to make a decision simply based on this window, you will see options are all available there including decline, accept, convert to comment etc. This is a real screenshot but I have obfuscated a few details to protect the flagger:
Now I don't usually use this screen because some details are lost. The title of the answer / question is clickable and when clicked keeps the original 'flag' options but opens up the answer / question itself above in a scrollable window. From here all details are available:
Once again I have shielded the identities. From the second window greater details are available, as you have mentioned, such as time of edits etc and the standard mod tools are available in a little more detail.
Does that cover what you were curious about?
@Zanna may very well have a different workflow, the system is quite flexible...
@andrew.46 Thanks - yeah it sounds like it. Ok no problem then - again I was simply curious about how it worked, and I don't mind a few declined flags, since it's quite rare - so everything good! 😎
@andrew.46 @ArturMeinild yes I think one should always visit the post, and I only don't visit the post when I am very very very confident that I am going to dismiss the flag in a particular way, for example Community flags a post for being edited more than 20 times by the original author and the author is Pablo Bianchi
(because I know from experience that Pablo Bianchi's intentions with regard to self edits are good and right)
