@andrew.46 Thanks! It's weird that they stopped mentioning the name's origin in newer versions.
@ArturMeinild hahaha! Some users are obsessed with versions and downvoting!
The worst thing is that I don't think that these users follow the questions they downvotes, so even if the OP adds the info they requested, they almost never retract their downvote
@ArturMeinild I agree. While some mods don't like having the same answer to multiple questions, I don't think it's bad. What you could also do is have your answer only on the target, vote to close the question as a dupe, but add a comment pointing to the exact answer of the target. This way you won't have posted the same answer multiple times and the OP will be pointed to the right solution for their case.
@BeastOfCaerbannog Yeah that would be fine by me. It doesn't matter to me if I have to delete the answer on the first question - however it's a little bit more specific to the version. Let's see if the question get closed, and take it from there..
I believe this question have the exact answer - namely that you have to change the sources from archive to old-releases. It's the top and accepted answer, and it's what helped the user here.

I just saw that the accepted answer helped the other poster - that's it. 😉
How to install software or upgrade from an old unsupported release?
This question originally asked only how to install software on an unsupported release, and was subsequently generalised and had several questions merged into it. The effect of merging is to move answers and comments from the sour...
@ArturMeinild all good, just very busy with the lil one
BTW, I think that titles in the editor are like second-class citizens. They don't draw enough attention, so many users don't even see them. Many times I don't as well and edit the title only after I have completed an edit and look at the question again.
