Natty pointed out a new answer to this old question
I think the question should be closed as "Needs details" - It wasn't a question, and didn't even include enough detail on the error or debugging details. It's a "question" that contains a bunch of things to *try* for different distributions. Poorly written at best.

Moving the *answers* out of the question and into an answer would leave the question itself way too light on details. Hence the suggestion to close it. No upvotes on it or the other answer in the 4 years it has been there. Just a new-answer today (which just duplicates what was "answered" in the question).
