I dislike the Batman question. I had hoped that the formula did something really clever, but it just glues together unrelated bits of different curves. You could make any shape you like using that technique.
Of all my answers here, my favourite is the logarithms one, which ended up getting only about half as many votes as two of my answers which were less valuable but more popular.
I'm happy with my top-voted answer. It was a tricky thing that I had done a bunch of research about in the past and was not so well-known that many other people would have come up with it.
