i feel like there are two different cultures with regard to grad students, there is the "take everything easy and once you're 30 think about finishing your phd" kind of attitude and the "if you aren't willing to do 90 hour weeks then what are you even doing here?" atmosphere

Granted, i find this form of stuff far more intriguing than trying to make a 3D cube grid version. With this it actually feels a bit more realistic as a 3D version.
