What I feel like it does, and im getting downvoted on Reddit every time i say so, its that like Riot says, a kernel level anticheat is needed to be a good anticheat
Like if they had showed up with a great anticheat, non kernel, the coffin would be shut on the Valorant anticheat.
But they showed up with a garbage one.
And FFS, you can't make the point that valve doesnt have the ressources to do so
At the end of the day I really wonder why there is no red herrings that throw you to a human check
Like if you get 45+ kills over and over again, and 90% of your kills are through the wall head shot... fuck off.
and that doesnt feel like it would be a huge check to make

Like, we got cheating monitors that give more information than the game gives. machine learning augmented cameras can masquerade as an input device and send human-like movement signals that are as good as the rank 1 players
I don't think it's possible anymore to make effective anticheat measure
