and 2) It was a one off thing they did to lure people back to see the new Legacy System stuff. Targetted at... y'know, those players that would actually benefit from it.
apparently we have action-rpg which, for whatever reason, covers Deus Ex and Demon's Souls, but not what you'd traditionally think of as an ARPG, like Diablo or Titan's Quest
the title says it all. I used to be a gamer on the SNES, I have taken up modern gaming, recently bought an XBOX 360 and I've played Half Life 2, am playing Fallout 3 and Batman Arkham Asylum, so far I've been doing fine difficulty-wise, I wanted to play a medieval RPG or some medieval stuff, I wa...
I'm trying to get the key from the Osmos-like (bunch of round things swimming around in a nodule) screen, and my little flying dude keeps getting knocked back. I've tried jamming the small 1-2-3 marked blobs into the holes that puff the windmill guy back to no avail. How do I get said key?
@Sterno 1) The problem is twofold: 1) There are too many questions tagged as such for me to feel comfortable spamming the homepage on a crusade to be rid of it, and 2) the merge/synonym proposal put forward by Raven Dreamer is fundamentally unworkable given the diversity of kinds of questions currently under the tags heading. Hence, my request that it be burninated, rather than simply cleared out by someone editing. — LessPop_MoreFizzMar 27 at 4:02
Yeah, sorry, wasn't complaining to you. I know I'd brought it up before with you. Just mentioning it in chat again (and probably will in another month)
We have absolutely no mechanism for moving forward with stuff on meta
On the left is a blue button that renames the tags. On the right is a red button that blacklists the tags. In the middle is a green button that merges the tag with an existing tag.
I've just finished my first play-through revelations yesterday, and something is bothering me since.
Is there something that I've missed? (It's not impossible, as I was already quite tired and sleepy by the end).
I've had a problem with this ever since it was posted, but NickT's discussion on the interpretation of the "practical" clause in the FAQ sorta/kinda helped me put into perspective why.
Interpreting Impractical
Story, trivia, and terminology-type questions are on-topic for the site. The problem...
Because if so, do me the favor of helping to clean up the various bad titles on them as well.
Because oh god, some of them are so bad.
SPOILER: QUESTION ABOUT THE SPOILER AFTER SPOILER IN SPOILER. (I'd tell you what game I'm playing, but I'm afraid that might be a SPOILER!) SPOILER ALERT HERE, BEWARE OF DRAGONS IF YE CLICK THIS LINK.
Do we known anything about differential wear rates between clothing items?
Does material affect wear rate? (Leather, cloth, silk, yarn, adamantine; do they wear out at different speeds?)
Does quality affect wear rate? (Does a masterwork item last longer than an ordinary one?)

@Wipqozn86 say what you will, but after seeing The Last Airbender movie, that was far worse than any Twilight. Both on it's own and relative to the source material.
a) apparently white = good, ethnic = bad, b) a bunch of earthbenders were penned up in a god damn canyon, c) firebenders needed a candle or something, and d) Katara was a wuss.
There's a new Sakura Dragon in the market with the elements Plant, Earth and Fire. Sounds like it's limited time.
How do I get a Sakura Dragon egg and how will I know when I get one? Approximately how rare are they? How long do I have to breed one?
I recently purchased DogFighter on Steam and when I play the tutorial, I get missing textures. The screen's bottom is black and the top is white. However, I can still see the silhouette of the airplane in 3rd person view.

@murgatroid99 Yes, but imo if they had called them something else than vampires it wouldn't have mattered much, it would have been just another sucky teen movie
@Blem I read this review blog for Twilight (the book) that reviewed one chapter per post and it gives a pretty clear explanation of why it is an absolutely terrible work of fiction
@NickT I don't, but that's not even the relevant part here. Bella is like an inverse Mary Sue (she is a generally unlikeable person and everyone loves her for it) and Edward is a complete asshole, and then they incomprehensibly fall in love
Also, it might be kind of telling if the author inserts an idealized version of themselves into a story and the character is still impossible to empathize with

@Blem That's the thing. Even if you ignore all of the stupid stuff that comes from inserting these fantasy creatures into a romance, you still get a stupid terrible situation/story
@Blem How can they be pedophiles if he's old and dead?
@MarkTrapp He is physically not really old, so they kind of gloss over it. The more important question is why is Twilight promoting abusive and codependent relationships?
@LessPop_MoreFizz You still call them that if the guy they want is dead and cold?

The ages of consent in North America for sexual activity vary by jurisdiction.
The age of consent in Canada is 16. All U.S. states set their limits between 16 and 18.
The age of consent in Mexico is complex. Typically, Mexican states have a "primary" age of consent (which may be as low as 12), and sexual conduct with persons below that age is always illegal. Sexual relations between adults and teenagers are left in a legal gray area: laws against adults "corrupting" minors may be used sometimes to punish such sexual encounters, as well as laws against engaging in sexual relatio...
> "Back in September 1958, a roly-poly Tulsa boy named Billy Jay Killen came home from high school and wanted to watch Dick Clark's television program, American Bandstand. His mother, who didn't particularly care for rock music, was all set to watch a different program so she told Billy 'No.' He seethed the whole night long. Then in the morning Billy took out a rifle and shot his mother dead. Millions of American teenagers feel just as strongly about Dick Clark."
@Blem It's set in the Olympic Peninsula so any time one of the dumb movies comes out, the local news makes it a point to mention where it's set

Also, I have a fascination with temperate rain forests, also found in the Olympic Peninsula. Screw Twilight for overtaking temperate rain forests as the thing it's known for
Having done the "nether only if not dead" experience, you at least have water - it'll be easier :)
The bare minimum, as James' answer states, is one sapling. If you want something resembling the "full" experience:

Ya know, that answer really annoys me.. It is an answer to a question that was not asked and simply because it has more information, again not directly answering the question asked, it gets more +s
When fighting monsters, does it matter the moment when you press attack? Or should I just press them as fast as possible to maximize the damage output?
