Apparently that is actually in response to a specific, credible threat, though still unsure what that threat might be given if the concern is explosives they can just check the luggage?
@Yuuki I've been trying to keep up with it since about 4 years ago, when I decided I need to build a new PC. I only built it last christmas (2015). Been trying to keep up with the tech somewhat, but not as much since I'm not really in the market for anything right now
now if I do fun legal dogfighting with my dad (seems so -- he didn't reply to my messages), I'll probably use one of the lesser known airports too, so it shouldn't be THAT bad
(we have like 50+ airports here)
(not too many of them are international and very low amount of them go to west)
going to be completely clear here, the yearly death average from radical islamism is likely higher, but not even higher than the majority (white cis straight christian male etc etc)'s terror actions.
@Arperum Obviously if you tell people they can't bring bombs on planes, the terrorists will leave their bombs at home before they attack airports! Pure genius!
@PrivatePansy In the Brussels case the biggest bombs were left at home because the taxi was too small. And the bomber with the biggest bomb in the airport got cold feet and did not blow his stuff up. Same for the other place that was bombed.
So all in all, it could have been waay worse. Also: Brussels was bombed because of the terrorists being hunted and being afraid of being caught before they could get to France to blow stuff up over there. Brussels was just where they happened to be.
After finding an anomaly, Suvi will sometimes say that this planet is heavy in a specific resource. I am then able to scan the entire surface, but the scanner doesn't seem to change. Will I always get the same amount of resources independent of where I scan? Is there any indication that sending a...
I don't want to side with Trump, but weren't there like hundreds of dead and injured over the past years due to islamic terror in the US alone? Most recent ones: Ohio State, Orlando, Ohio machete attack, San Bernardino, UofC, Chattanoogha, Vaughan, Boston marathon,...
@Nzall WHat about the way higher numbers of people killed by non-islamic terror in the US alone? How many of those terrorist came to the US, and went relatively fast into "gonna blow shit up"- mode?
There was some article awhile back that said that second and third generation American citizens are more likely to become radicalized than first-generation immigrants.
The idea being that these first-generation immigrants came to America to seek a better life and out of a belief that America provides more freedom and liberty than their home country.
Whereas second/third-generation tends to suffer from a sense of cultural identity crisis (am I American or <original country>?) and are more susceptible to being radicalized.
I mean, the Internet plays a large part in radicalization, but sometimes, you need someone with special skills that aren't readily available, and easiest way to do that is by flying an expert over
So, apparently the same sex romance options for men in ME:A are half that of the options for women. And gay men can't even get the achievement for romances without becoming bi men. :|
I constantly find myself walking around with this annoying scanner going and going and going. I can't run with it activated and the 'scan object is close' thing only seems to really work when you're directly next to something.
Is there a way to either extend the radar's range or know if somethin...
@Fluttershy I'm curious how many of these things are intentional versus them just closing loose ends on a tight deadline (neither of which excuse it, but). Either way it'll be curious what they end up patching
@Yuuki apparently it doesn't necessarily have to be quick, or something
We used a slow strobe for night dives and one boat mate (who is epileptic) pointed out that's potentially a problem
Not probably a problem, but potentially
Considering that the risk of seizure is slightly increased when breathing underwater, and the consequences of seizure underwater is at minimum near drowning
> Haaa. In terms of sheer amount of interaction with gay love interests, gay Ryders get a combined 14 minutes between the two M/M options. That’s just about half the amount of romance time there is to characters like Cora.
> And neither of the options have actual face models, they’re character creator creations.
> I don’t actually think that _only_ having 2 options is that bad. Two is fine. It’s half what F/F get, but whatever, asari mix that up. It’s the quality and actual quantity compared to all the other pairings that makes me all :(
EA hyped it on their earnings call but in a very generic "It'll be so new and amazing like nothing you've seen before" type of way so not really much actual information on what it is
@TimStone It's a game set in a high-tech industrialized city some unknown period of time after an unspecified biological disaster in which the genome of the human race was modified and spliced with the DNA of various cephalopodic and crustacean species. The game is story-driven and centers around one key question: are you a kid now? Or are you a squid now?
@Fluttershy I've realized that I am willing to accept a large number of graphics quality hits in return for the ability to play a game at the drop of a dime with the Switch's portability.
There was a thread earlier about Persona possibly coming to the Switch (since Atlus is a confirmed partner) even though it's an unofficial Sony exclusive and I realized that I am willing to miss a lot on graphics quality to be able to pick up and play the way you can with a Switch.
@Nzall I'm not aware of any rumors. I'm just saying that SWTOR is in a weird place right now.
Star Wars is a Disney property right now. Even if SWTOR isn't part of the Star Wars canon anymore, any further xpacs and such will still have to be run through Disney.

will try to act like nothing happened (even to US embassy which will be fun -- I do not need his approval letter but if he says he does not approve explicitly then it can (and likely will) delay my visa process which is not fun) and try not to force my negativity to bridge as I try to feel better myself
Game Freak Inc. (Japanese: 株式会社ゲームフリーク, Hepburn: Kabushiki gaisha Gēmu Furīku, stylized as GAME FREAK inc.) is a Japanese video game developer, best known as the primary developer of Nintendo's Pokémon series of role-playing video games.
== History ==
Predating the video game company, Game Freak was a self-published video game magazine created by Satoshi Tajiri and Ken Sugimori in the 1980s. Tajiri wrote and edited the text and Sugimori illustrated. Tajiri also used "Game Freak" as his pen name when he wrote as a freelance writer to publications such as Family Computer Magazine and Famicom Tsūshin...
I upgraded to 75/75 because any higher speed requires them to come out and check the ONT |:
Can check myself if it's compatible with the higher speeds I suppose, but if it's not I don't know if I'm allowed to have it replaced since the apartment had them all installed to begin with
Tembo the Badass Elephant is a side-scrolling platform video game developed by Game Freak and published by Sega. @Yuuki agreed, it is a major seller point for me. I like phones for that: I play on my desk, while lying down, while in kitchen, cooking, on the road (as in in bus or metro), etc. But phones can't run any complex games. That's what makes me consider it tbh. Only place I can use the dock in all those places I use it is "on my desk" with my external screen. But it's better than nothing. That post applies to me (but I'm broke as hell).
>It says: "Electronic devices larger than a cell phone/smart phone will not be allowed to be carried onboard the aircraft in carry-on luggage or other accessible property."
so if my e-reader is 6", can I keep it as there are 6" phones too?
I'm trying to get a weapon so that I can upgrade it to the maximum level like all the other weapons so that I can
However, to get this weapon, I need to beat a very difficult boss. Unfortunately for me, he is level 99, while I am roughly level 70. I tried my luck at his fight, but after an ard...

@Yuuki So the final part of the season pack is probably another $5 one civ-pack, meaning that buying the season pass got you a net earning of $0. That's assuming there are no prices like $4.95, because that would result in the season pass being pricier ...
@Jutschge That's typical, the answers that take you forever are left to rot and the stupid simple answers are crazy upvoted. See also my second highest voted answer.
On a loading screen, I read that stealing items can lead to consequences in the future. How do I tell whether an item I'm targeting is considered "stealing" or not?
When you breed a new generation, it's possible to end up with more than one in a litter. These extras are considered packmates, which you can use to distract enemies or help you hunt. Is it possible, after losing one or more packmates after a big fight, to consume their corpses to gain calories a...
In Pokemon Duel (v. 4.1 for Android) I sometimes get a message when I try to go into the Room Duel module telling me that the game could not read my GPS location.
How does location factor into Room Duels? Is there a maximum distance that you can be from someone before you are unable to have a Ro...
I just love teaching/helping people. I mean even in the military I'm an instructor. But well I'm too bad at programming to be helping anyone with it...
@Yuuki actually that's what happened to me right before I got question banned. I also found the chatrooms to be more helpful as you could talk to people in real time
I didn't even realize I was question banned until I accidentally clicked the button
I was like, "oh what's this? What did I click?"
@Jutschge you and me both
Those kids they always talk about in the news that are learning programming at age 10 are going to quickly eclipse me
I gotta go back to the military in 2 weeks again... Sometimes ppl here say it's like vacation since you don't really have to do anything besides drinking booze. But meh...

Taking reviews as aggregate, it seems that the Power Rangers movie is having a "eating your cake and having it too" problem with regards to seriousness vs. campness.
that said your TSA record is already terribad and I've already sworn to myself that I'd never travel to the US, and if I had to, I'd never bring electronics in
I've been playing these Evolution games by Tapps and decided to see if anything happens when you earn all achievements. The problem is that I have gotten all achievements except one: "Superb Primate". The description reads "Create the Supreme Being."
Now, I have gotten Monkey King leveled to 5...
@GodEmperorDune Yeah, it's tricky in this case though since it seems to be in direct response to a perceived immediate threat by the IC. It's heavy-handed and inconveniences a ton of people, but no one wants to be the one to have brushed something specific off and have a plane get blown up :/
Granted, we'll see how long it lasts. If it's really an indefinite measure it's not workable
FWIW I was able to board the plane without even getting my bags checked here (in domestic flights, even though it's required -- they started allowing people in and only one of my bags were checked in and they just said "ok whatever just go in"), so yeah, bans don't fix anything, adding more checks make people ignore them and workarounds doesn't fix the issue but just make everything harder, as I said the checks can be potentially skipped anyways.
According to the NY Times, the DHS did not cite any specific intelligence as a reason for this ban
> Rather, they said the change was based on intelligence reports about extremist groups that have an ongoing interest in staging attacks against American aviation targets.
That doesn't sound like the kind of thing that's limited in time, or intended to foil specific plots
