@GraceNote I'm not sure that the relationship with splinter-cell is particularly relevant here neccesarily. But I don't really like the idea that we're going to find outselves mangling titles by dropping spaces as a habit. Because while this is fairly coherent, a tag like assassinscreedrevelations or starwarsknightsoftheoldrepublic is not.
@GraceNote but, yeah, The Mighty and All Knowing All Seeing All Searching Google seems to provide much better results for a no-space search than anything acronymized.
Actually, searching sans space provides 5x the results that searching for "Splinter Cell Chaos Theory" properly does. Presumably thanks to URL structures.
@Wipqozn I wish. Got out of the army, was ready to go home so I vacated my apartment. Found out there was an issue with my divorce, so, I've been staying in a hotel for a month trying to sort it.
@Tristan I'm older than him, he takes advantage of this fact. However, you're older than me, so rather than just do it to you, I'll just pass the buck.
@Fredy31: I am not sure if you will be proud of me or hate me for this, but I just ganked a trooper in the Voss cantina purely because he had 'QC' in both his character and guild name.
@Wipqozn no, I'm cool with Quebec, but I find the sort of overly proud quebecois who feel the need to attach 'qc' to everything they do and insult me in french to prove a point to be insufferable.
I have been making some progress in Seiklus, finding cool stuff, and generally having a good time. Then I check out the map(once I read the instructions to find the map button,) and find that there are a number of blinking lights on certain area blocks:
They alternate between white and black, ...
I'm really tempted to change my avatar to Applejack or Rainbow Dash now.
Perhaps an alot of Applejack or Rainbow Dash.
I need to watch more of the series. I've only watched half of season 1. My friend and I had a Marathon. I was waiting on him to finish it, but I think I'll just continue on without him.
In Civ4, going to war with a more powerful army than your neighbors' was quite profitable. If a neighboring civ started to expand into your territory, you could go to war and raze their cities to free up some land and claim it later with a settler; or you could take over the city. In both cases, ...
I've managed to get the L4D2 dedicated server running on Linux (vanilla Debian 6), it works, but there's one major fault.
The server won't read any configuration files. It always ends up with

@LessPopMoreFizz It was one of the initial launch titles for the 360. Absolutely terrible western.

@AshleyNunn Yeah, jeez. I facepalmed hard when I saw this. Let's hope we can instruct him and get him to become a productive member of the site soon. He's certainly got enthusiasm.
Step One: Get the Pattern.
This step is primarily for people who have Artificing as one of their crew skills. Others will need to find someone who can do the craft on commission for them (this is exceptionally difficult and will cost you a tidy sum, for reasons that will be detailed), or get an ...

I've got all of the Mass Effect 2 DLC installed and I want to play through the game again before Mass Effect 3 comes out, but I'd like to avoid certain DLC chunks. Is there any way to enable/disable specific packs of DLC for a given character? I'm not seeing any option for this in-game, nor do I ...
so... I'm not big into racing games, but I picked up forza motorsport 3 for a song. They give me a choice of starting cars, and one of them is the subcompact honda I drive to work every day

Hey, @agent86 - for my sanity, consider stopping using the "other" close reason to say, "should be a comment on X". If you've figured out which answer it was intended to comment on, we probably can too, and it shows up in the "other" column when it's really a pretty standard problem. ♪

@agent86 it's not quite like that. I'm wrong because you listened.
It's the agent86 duality principle based on which my correctness is undeterminded until an observer decides whether or not you're listening to me.
If the observer bothered to decide that you listened to me or not, it's because he doesn't like what you did. So you were wrong. The rest is corollary.
I have an overall planned story for my character, part of which runs through the dark brotherhood. One of the first sets of contracts you do for them include killing one person that I know starts a small quest (very small in this case). I am wondering if I should be aware of any significant event...
@badp eh, this is hurting my brain cells. I don't have many left, it being friday evening and all. I'll just stop doing the things you want me to do and do the things raven does, until someone gets mad at me for that, and then I'll switch to whatever comes next.
Personally I prefer clicking a couple extra time to dismiss "other" flags manually rather than looking at, say, this "not an answer" and wonder, what the hell is wrong here?
the shark can just pleasantly handle those flags on his own though.
Important NPCs are invulnerable, like Oblivion.
You might close off some smaller sidequests, but the folks necessary for the main story (for instance) have a tendency to be "incapacitated" from "killing" blows.
So feel free to go nuts.
Interestingly, NPC allies behave a little different, even...
